Installed all new control arms. Freedom off road adjustables. Set em to factory length right now untill I get the rest of the suspension suspension and steering parts in. Then a total alignment to recenter the axles. Other than the stickers all being the same so they sit wierd when installed I have no complaints. Def took a lot of the wander out of the jeep

Had my alternator rebuilt. Reinstalled it this am. These JK's are so electronically / computer dependent that it literally shifts better.

Battery light remained illuminated for three days straight. Prior to that it would illuminate in the morning and after a short drive, it would shut off. Which led me to believe it was actually my battery prematurely dying. But it wasn't. I also experienced lethargic shifting and a slight decrease in pep. Granted I only pushed it for approximately 2 1/2 days before I decided to pull the alternator. But I'm glad I did before I got stuck somewhere.
I fixed Mrs. Dogs AC. It stopped blowing cold. Turns out that if you pack enough crap into your glove box, it can overflow into the dash and block the intake where the air recirculates...

New adjustable rear track bar installed.
Still waiting on drag link to center axles and correct and steering issues. Don't really drive it alot as I work too much. Just been fun tinkering with
Added a Motobilt Hatchet stubby rear bumper to my 2015 JK and removed the rear fender inner liners to prepare for cutting the stock flares down over the week I am off. I really like this stubby bumper, it matches well with my cut down front bumper. I will mostly likely go with a Motobilt front stubby bumper at some point.
I did the Novak TC shifter bushing mod today and what excuse to pop a beer. No pic's as don't have a camera and I was upset with stupid mistakes. I don't why I fix stuff thats not broken. New tie rod stuff suppose to be here next week to correct some minor wandering.

Finally sat down and drilled the knuckles for the ruff stuff 1 ton tie rod. It was a lot easier than I thought. Took about 5 mins a knuckle with the right bits. Used black oxide bits with some thread cutting oil I had laying around. Started with a 3/4 bit the did the 7/8. Milwaukee M18 drill for the win. Yes you see some wood blocks but I had Jack stands in place as well.

Next up is a new radiator and front sway bar disconnects. Oddly enuff when doin the tie rod I found a minor crack at the top of the plastic radiator side tank. May also put the new extended brake lines on as the previous owner appeared to be using stock lines as limiting straps

Actually over the last week. The daughter got some 35” given to her and finally bought some rims for them last Saturday. The spare was too big. I told her she needed a tire carrier of some sort as it’s too heavy for the stock setup. Said she didn’t have the money, but wanted it on. Said could remove the bumper (illegal here in CA) or I could cut it. She decided to have me cut it. It was one of those jobs I thought would take a while, but was actually done in under a hour. I was trying to balance the tire on 4x and the floor jack to see how much I needed to cut. Son comes out on his way to work and says “why aren’t you using the hoist?” I replied “fabulous question and idea (thinking idiot to myself).

New radiator and jks swar bar disconnects installed. Next I gotta do the extended brake lines. Also had a good rebate coupon so I ordered a new Bilstein steering stabilizer. So close to taking it out once I get some free time. Thinking a beach cruise with the family and there's also a good lil off-road area with some various rock gardens for crawling.

The scorching temputures in phila.pa are inspiring me to hang out down the linden ave River Park and slide some hot dogs on my antenna of VAFFANCULO let them bake in the sun and eat them with a few cold ones

So the hot dogs were good next time I'll be sure too slide a paper plate on the antenna first the juices from my hot dogs were dripping on my fender and cowl
Went up the Hungalelti Trail in El Dorado National Forest. Was a great time, even had a few thunderstorms.
