About

Chris Jumonville

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chris Jumonville and I am the admin and founder of Jeep Wrangler TJ Forum. I founded this forum out of my love and passion for the Jeep Wrangler TJ. I've owned more cool cars in my life than I can count, but to this day, my Jeep Wrangler TJ remains one of the most fun and enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned.

I am a born again Christian and a man of God who always tries to put our Lord and Savior above all else. I beleive it is my purpose to serve Christ and encourage others to do the same. Next to God, family is of the utmost importance to me. I reside in Florence, Arizona with my wife, two daughters, and our son. I take great joy in having a family and watching my kids grow.

I own my own business called Digital Sky Design as a professional web designer. When I'm not working, my biggest hobbies—aside from my Jeep—include playing the banjo and guitar, working out, hiking, biking, the outdoors, and spending time with my family. I absolutely love music and very much enjoy blues, bluegrass, classical, 50s, 60s, and 70s rock, etc. I guess you could say that my music taste is quite eclectic.

The reason I started this forum is because the majority of forums out there were once privately owned.. Two big companies (Vertical Scope and Internet Brands) came along and bought most of those forums from the individuals who owned and ran them. It didn't take long before those forums went to complete hell. These companies monetized them in such a way that made them almost unbarable. Ask most of the veteran forum members who have been around them a long time and they'll all tell you how bad those forums have become, and how good they used to be. Many of you probably remember Wrangler Forum and Jeep Forum before they got bought out. They were much better places to hang around back then and have since then gone downhill tremendously.

One thing that really bothers me with so many other forums is the general feeling of hostility you encounter as a new member. Go to almost any other forum and post a frequently asked question, and you'll typically be met with replies such as "Learn how to use the search feature!", and other rude remarks. I blame this on a lack of good, activemoderators. In addition, I've noticed that the moderators and staff at those forums don't seem to care about this overall hostile behavior from other members. I can't even begin to tell you how many other forums I used to visit have been overrun with drama and juvenile behavior. Spend a few days around this forum and you'll find that it is not like that in any way, nor will it ever be. We don't tolerate that type of behavior here and never will, plain and simple. The most you might need to enjoy this place is a good sense of sarcasm and dry humor (especially when dealing with Blaine).

Another goal I had when I creating this forum, was to have a forum that is clean, non-cluttered, easy to navigate, and easy to use on mobile devices (if you haven't tried this forum out on your smartphone or tablet you're missing out). Forum members will never at any point see this forum overrun with annoying ads like all the other forums out there, that's a promise! The majority of the money I do make from this site helps to offset the costs of running maintaining such a large website (i.e. software licenses, server costs, etc.).

If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me personally! I'm a very approachable guy who loves to chat!
