What did you do to your JK today?

Changed the hard top and full doors to the soft top and halfsies on Monday, then a cold front moves in and rain today. Tuesday I did have the uppers off and the Sunrider part flipped back. I really like the height of the factory half doors.

Still need to do spring cleanup from the winter salt monster, but nicer days are coming.

Bought the only Mopar thermostat in 3 states around me, from a dealer 3 hours away. Was told at several dealers that they have been on backorder for 3-4 months and no end in sight.

Mine decided to fail closed yesterday.

I was at the dealership for the clockspring repair and talked with parts. They said they had some on order, put my name in for two. They called me when they came in and went down and picked two up. Sitting in the garage in the parts drawer.

Also have some OEM sensors sitting around for my 2006 LJR as they are getting harder to find.

I called at least 20 dealerships today and everyone told me they are showing 5/20 as an estimated ship date, but that it's been pushed back weekly for the last 3ish months. One dealer even said they had a handful of JK's & JL's setting waiting for them.

I usually will snatch up NOS Mopar parts for my TJ too.

Not really to our JK but made a spot for TV r doors to hang. Best cheapest idea yet I’ve had for it. The other two for my LJR.

Parked my JKU today for what could be a couple months. I'll ask the wife to run her around the block once a week or so.

Blew out my knee Wednesday, met with an ortho guy Thursday and have an MRI tomorrow, but it looks to be my MCL and meniscus. Looks like I'll be off my left foot for a little bit after surgery.

Need to get this right as we have a big trip to Yellowstone coming in September after Labor Day weekend.

Good luck brother
Hopefully surgery goes well :)

Sorry to hear. That just stinks!

I took the the Rough Country springs/shocks/spacers the PO installed off.

Replaced with Metal Cloak springs/shocks, 2-1/2" front and 3-1/2" rear.

Now the rear doesn't sag from the weight of the bumper/spare/crap I carry behind the seats. Also doesn't wallow like a boat in a cross wind or bottom out in the rear when I hit a dip in the road.

Drove it to Lake Forest today to visit Rebel Off road. Bought the recon front coilover kit w/bump stops. 6 week wait for King to tune and set them up. I ordered "raw" brackets and will Cerakote them with a new "F" series coating that is quicker cure and better UV stability. Looking forward to the project.

🤤 what size did you go with?

The king 2.5's. The ride height is adjustable from 4.5" to 6"

This is the exact kit plus I got the compression adjusters.
