What did you do to your JK today?

Stopped at 4 different garages to see if they could raise my trailer hitch one set of bolt holes. Not one of them would do it due to "Liability" reasons. Same thing happened a few months ago when I wanted someone to break a lugnut loose. Thing's sure aren't like they were back in day anymore!
Installed grab handles to help the wife in the jeep. So far so good.

Installed metal soft top header on my 07 rubi. Came with a plastic one. Night and day difference on wind noise. Love it
Well I finally have the wife‘s jeep back together from rear axle seal, bearing, emergency brake shoes (a pain the butt), new rotors, and pads and took for a test drive. It stopped. Also replaced the air filter in each of our Jeeps.
Nope, no spinning nuts. I will say we’ve had issues with some of lug nuts with rounded corners so I replaced all them today. Not what previous owner did.
Well I think many companies are concerned about litigation if something they do causes some sort of issue or injury .

Thank you sir. Got the radio from Walmart for that same price, they had one left on the shelf. It does have apple/andriod play and you can hook up a camera

Not all today, but some things I did recently.
10" Touchscreen Android/CarPlay system. Even works with the steering wheel controls. Quite a bargain. I paid $280 each on Amazon.

Replaced the power outlet in the dash with a dual port QuickCharge outlet.

Added USB outlets for the rear seat.

The rear seat USB ports and the various lights are controlled by the Voswitch system. It comes with a good selection of switch covers, but I had some custom ones made by the folks at Rocker Switch Pros.

Some places, it is. When I assembled the Smittybilt pivot spare tire carriers, they needed to have the studs placed. I've never been a fan of the lugnut & impact wrench method, nor the punch & hammer method. And I do not own a hydraulic press. I called my local Midas, and the guy said "come on down!". I did, and a few minutes later I walked out with the studs properly pressed into place. No charge.
(A very big pain in the B) I removed all components of my E brake system. Eng Chrysler nonsense for the salted winters here. Fail or lock up after 2 seasons. Great money maker for the Stealerships here, as they are not a warranty item. Never needed them in 10 yrs. Have a wheel chock in the back somewhere, if I have to idle in neutral on a steep incline.
Yeah, it's MUCH easier if you remove the axle. I did one side w/o the axle because I was replacing it but since I stripped one pressed in bolt I didn't want to take a chance and left the driver side in place. drum brakes are a pain any way (thankful for discs) but having the axle in the way definitely increases the PITA factor.
So when you pull the axle I guess the seal doesn’t needed to be replaced? You can use the same seal again? Cause its a pain replacing the bearing.
Indeed it is. I bought an axle shaft with the bearing, seal and Flange pre-installed from Summit. Spending extra was worth it to me - didn't feel like adding drama to my day.
I used the excuse to buy a 20ton press. Then the axle ended up being about 1”-1.5” too long. Ended up running out for some 2” flat steel, cut the center bottom brace off the press and put a piece of the flat steel on each side which gave plenty of room to press the bearing onto the axle. Overall the press has been working great, used it to straighten out 1/4” steel skid plate too. It has already paid for itself.
