We drove it to bring this fellow home today. His name is Bailey and he will be two months old on the 17th.

Today, we will drive one of them (not sure which) to take little Bailey to the vet. He needs his first round of puppy shots and a microchip.
That doesn't sound like much to do, but the vet is 2.5 hours from our home. That's a drive, but it's worth it. The Dr is one of my TKD students; we've known her since she was in middle school. Her husband (now a cop) is another of my students. So we get appointments without a long delay, and we get to catch up with friends.

Finally got around to finishing my spare tire carrier install today. Not too difficult for one person to do. Now to buy a spare. Nobody in the US or Canada has the rims that I have as they've been discontinued. So, I had to buy a generic looking rim to mount the spare on. I did find a guy on FB Marketplace that's selling a Jeep with these rims. I practically begged him to sell me his spare.

Thor had the binary odometer a few weeks ago.
While we were in Moab, my turn signals started acting up off & on. Start the engine, everything is good. In anything from 1-30 minutes, the right turn signal would trigger the "dead bulb" dash warning. Some time after that, the left would do the same. Always the right one first, and restarting the engine always fixes it. I figured the multifunction switch was going bad, so I swapped it today. Didn't fix it.
I was baffled, so I went on to another project. Installing a Midland MXT400 and 6db antenna. Got that installed, handed Mrs. Dog a hand held unit and headed down the road to test it. Worked great. We're in a rural area. I drove about 5 miles and everything was still clear. I did discover an interesting interaction.
My antenna is mounted on the drivers front fender. The MXT400 can transmit at 3 different power levels; low (0.5W) Medium (5W) and High (40W). With the transmitter set to High, the Wolfbox screen blanks during broadcast. Reception doesn't have any effect, nor does broadcasting on Medium or Low power. I suspect it's a matter of the antenna being in close proximity to the screen. Were it mounted on the tailgate, I might well not interfere even on High power.
Oh, and while I was on that drive, the blinkers worked perfectly.

I've had the same stuff happen with turn signals and wipers. Goes nuts then they're fine.

That's a pretty Jeep. I just bought mine recently and love it but I've started really noticing other Jeeps now and I'm like a kid in a toy store: "Oooh, I want that one!....oooh, I want that other one too!" 
Cleaned up the Jeep for the Barricade Go Topless Day at Maple Grove Raceway tomorrow.
Baby got new shoes. Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. Much smoother ride than the Nitto M/Ts that were on it when I bought it.
Mounted a backup camera above the spare on a pedestal that came with the Smittybuilt tire carrier. The pedestal was designed for a third brake light but they're not required in Florida so I thought to mount the camera there. I had originally thought to get the Wolfbox rearview mirror setup as I was concerned that adding a spare would block the view out the back. Well, turns out I can see traffic behind me over the spare just fine. So, I just decided to hook up a regular backup camera to the existing wiring leading to the head unit.
Aaannnd....it's not going to work. The camera can't see over the spare enough to view the front of a parked car behind me. It would work fine as a rearview mirror camera. I can't mount the camera on the very top with the little camera bracket underneath the camera because then the image is upside down. You can't take the camera off the bracket and turn it around because the mounting holes don't line up.
So now I'm looking at a camera mount that fits behind the spare and has the camera peeking through the rim. I'm concerned that the holes in my rim might be too small or won't line up. We'll see.

Just FYI, the Wolfbox camera cam be mounted either way up. It also has a really wide angle lens, and the visual angle can be adjusted up and down by swiping on the mirror. My camera is mounted on the roof. When there's a cliff behind me, I swipe down and have the perfect view.
After thinking about it, I don’t think it would’ve mattered if I could’ve mounted it on top because of the angle of the spare tire. It would have to be even taller to be able to see down at a good angle.
Looks really good ! I hear you about instructions not included . Just installed RC seat covers and there weren’t any included .
I find you can usually find a uTube video that will explain a few things for installation of whatever your working on
Looks like an awesome trip .
MOAB def on my list of places to visit .Seen many many uTube videos of MOAB and surrounding areas . Looks really beautiful with all red rocks etc. Many a trail to explore !!
All the snow finally melted at higher elevations . It’s been pretty warm here the last 3 weeks . Was able to make it to the end of the Jordon River Main . About 45KM and couple summits & valleys later .
