    Lockers won't engage

Check the wiring for the actuators. They're probably fine, but I've had my front locker not work because they missed fixing the wiring after a collision.

    3.6L valve seals recommendation.

Thanks. They are my go-to brand as well.

    3.6L valve seals recommendation.

So I've been dealing with really bad oil consumption (over 1L in 600 km of highway driving). I'll park it for 2 weeks, and there'll be no oil spots, and the oil level will be constant, so I can rule out oil leaks. It could be the piston rings, though for the amount of oil consumption, the power...

    Camshaft sensor wiring.

I can't remember if I verified the bank 1 signal wires, since I didn't have any codes for that bank, so pin 85 could very much be pin 65. Given the wrong pin for the ground, I'm guessing the diagram I was going off of was based on something hand written where the 6 looked like an 8. As for your...

    Camshaft sensor wiring.

Yup. The ECM has 2 connectors going to it. The cam sensors are wired through the inboard connector. On my 2014 the cam sensor wiring was: - CMP signal 1 (bank 1 sensor): pin 62 - CMP signal 2 (bank 1 sensor): pin 85 *unconfirmed* - CMP signal 3 (bank 2 sensor): pin 63 - CMP signal 4 (bank 2...

    Camshaft sensor wiring.

Through trial and error, I found out that it's pin #66.

    Camshaft sensor wiring.

I'm having the reoccurring P0394 code with the ESC light coming on. I'm currently checking the continuity of the wires between the bank 2 sensor, and the ECU. The signals, and 5V supply all came back good, but the ground isn't. I just want to confirm that pin 86 on the ECU connector is the...

    Winch bracket for rubicon bumper

Mopar had a winch plate which would allow you to mount a winch down in that bumper, but that has been discontinued. Luckily JCR, rockhard 4x4, among others make a similar product. I do believe you need to also get a vacuum pump relocation bracket.

My 2018 Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport for Camping Trailer Tow

Ya, they are a lot of fun. Got to ride plenty when I worked in a bike shop. Really wished I bought one back then. I still will, but I'm gonna get a new trail bike, and a new road bike first.

My 2018 Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport for Camping Trailer Tow

Unfortunately regenerative braking isn't coming to eMTBs anytime soon. You need a hub motor to have that feature which really mess up the weight distribution. On a city bike you can get away with it since you aren't constantly making quick maneuvers. But even they are almost all going to BB drive.

Is this a factory Rubicon transfer case?

Maybe your unit is a rebuilt TC? On to a gravel road, or some dirt, drive at a steady RPM in 1st & 4Hi, then repeat in 1st & 4Lo. Compare the 2 speeds to verify that you at least have the correct gear ratio?

Ideas to kill time during the pandemic?

I definitely want to check for rust, but there's still a bit of snow on the ground, but it looks like it will be mostly gone in a week or so.

Ideas to kill time during the pandemic?

I bought it from a dealership, and specifically requested that. But it wouldn't hurt to know where all the grounds are.

Ideas to kill time during the pandemic?

Back in December I finally got into a JK after over 7 years driving my 98 TJ. It's a 2014 manual JKUR that had 65k km (40k miles) on it. I still have my TJ which is now my project vehicle, but with social distancing going on I'm in need of more things to do to kill time. I'll be emptying every...

Will an Atlas 5.1 transfer case fit in my JKU?

My guess as to why the programming can't be change to solve the issue is because you would need to add new code to account for multiple TC gear ratios, rather than just changing parameters. Instead of just going in and changing a number from 2.72 to 4.0, you'd need to add logic loops. The...

What are the best sized tires for 20" wheels?

If you're going to be offroading, I would reconsider, even with a 35" tire, you're no going to have enough sidewall. When aired-down, sufficient sidewall allows the tire to deform to the terrain, giving you more grip.

    Steering Stabilizer

The stabilizer isn't required for the steering to function properly, or soundly. But it dampens the vibrations, and forces in order to prolong the life of the linkage.
