    P0430 Code Catalytic Converter

Yeah, this should be an easy fix. Exhaust isn't rocket science. Any exhaust shop in business should be able to cut and weld to make this fit.

What’s up w/ the poor-fitting carpet in our JK?

Sounds the case to me as well. Until I removed it for bedtred (more on this in a moment) The carpet was perfectly matched in my 2009. I have huskies, so the carpet had to go, or it was just going to be husky colored all the time. I picked up bedtred the rubberized version, and while it's much...

Can I use a light bar on the front bumper with the factory fog light wiring?

Stock lights are controlled by the computer and have a set power expectation. You are asking for strange errors by using those wires. Best idea is to run new wires to fuse panel and a switch inside. Don't forget to include a relay. Running new lights isn't hard, but it's more than just...

    Surplus hard top loft storage?

seats are leather, and I replaced the carpet with the rubber lining a few years ago. These days it's just a quick vacuum of the corners to get it clean. However, anything under the seats just become hair traps, just as a loft would.

    DTE - Fuel Tank

Check your tires pressures. I've had a low tire pop a bunch of lights because computer.

    Surplus hard top loft storage?

an interesting idea. I'm unsure of the exact measurements between the roll cage bits, but if those fit between I could see it working. They would have to be tight enough not to droop below the roll cage as there is limited enough visibility. I also would only use the mesh one, you then can see...

2008 traction control light comes on when turning

This can also be activated by one tire being lower tire pressure than the other, to include what pressure you are running in general. Worth a look. I keep meaning to get it fixed but, my one tire with a super slow leak eventually causes the speed sensors to throw an error.

Tires for wet traction.... especially with no ABS

Falken makes really good tires. What year is your jeep and what part are you needing specifically? A quick search of the internet shows a number of ABS modules available, but it's possible they were for the wrong year.

2017 Rubicon 2-door has sloppy steering and feels like fishtailing

Definitely worth a call. If they can't do the work, they may know where you can take your Jeep. A general 4x4 shop, or off-roading would be a couple other search terms. Jeeps really aren't that much different from other off-roaders. It's the solid axles that the standard shop isn't used to...

    Question about LED's

That is possible. I know for some things, the computer "learns" after a certain number of on off cycles. Lights could be the same. Congrats.

    Question about LED's

I hear you there, changing out the flasher module would be much easier. If what @Dirty Dog says is the case, I'm not sure what you can do. I experimented with LEDs on my past 2014 (may it rest in piece) and never had any luck beyond the headlights. This was before I had JScan, but I had the app...

    Question about LED's

Electrically, 2011 wranglers are odd. You still have the 3.8 engine, but you have the updated interior. With that, hopefully the LED option is there for your Jscan. (it's a great app no matter what year your JK) I've specifically stayed away from LED turn signals for this reason. I would 100%...

Is there a resource that lists the standard features of the different trim levels of JKs?

Sport is the base level trim. Sahara is the luxury trim. More likely to have leather seats and usually had a same color hardtop. Same offroading as sport, other than the fact they tended to come with 18" wheels. Rubicon is the offroader. Locking difs and 4.10 axles ratio. Also had beefier...

Is there a resource that lists the standard features of the different trim levels of JKs?

Let us know what you plan on using it for, and we may be able to steer you in a direction. Amount you are willing to spend is an important point. I would say look for ones 2013 and up. That will give you a 3.6, but not the first year for the engine.

2014 JKU Dash Upgrade for Apple Carplay

Hmm, I wonder if they fixed that in newer models. That being said, I don't do satellite radio, but ole' fashioned local radio, and with my 5-ish year old (though I'm unsure how old of a model it is) Kenwood, it doesn't show the channel unless I expand the side 'drawer'. In general, they just...

Preparing to re-gear. Anyone with this set up?

lol, I was specific in my use of the word 'fine'. It's not amazing, but it does the job. I certainly would rather have the 3.6. Though the 3.8 is much easier to work on.

Preparing to re-gear. Anyone with this set up?

The 3.8, while not fast, is mostly hated (I think anyway) because of that damn Auto they paired with it. If you have a manual, it's fine. A bit oil burny, but it goes down the road and does highway stuff and dirt stuff just fine. I imagine a two door and manual is just as fun as my 99 TJ.

2014 JKU Dash Upgrade for Apple Carplay

My big complaint with the Kenwood stuff is a small thing, but to me a point of annoyance, and I see it in your pic there. When I assign stations to the quick buttons on the right... it doesn't update the button, it just continues to say 01 or something equally useless. I'm not sure if any of...

How can I tell if my top is OEM?

Post a picture of the top's harness here. Also, a pic of the top in full from the side, and one of the back window. There is probably a stamp with item number someplace, but it may not tell us much.

Easter Has anyone found the famous "Easter Egg" on their JK?

I've never really thought of those as 'easter eggs', but more of Jeep honoring it's past with some fun additions to some design decisions. The spot above the rearview mirror is typically blacked out to reduce UV exposure on the mirror itself. So, why not do it in seven slot style... etc. Same...
