What did you do to your JK today?

I try to honestly review everything I buy from Bezos' bozos. Most are good, but I don't pull punches on the junk and call it out. It also gets shipped back quickly. Like others, I read the reviews first before "buy it now".
That's the way to do it. Bad products appear in any store, even if it's just one of a thousand seemingly identical products. And Amazon makes returning things easy.

I usually have good luck with Amazon and Ebay but lately been getting alot of bad product. That rear work light I bought stripped out the mounting threads and I barely hand tightened them. It's also got condensation behind the lens now. Those cool led tailights I bought, I had already sent back once, and now sending the 2nd set back for a refund because the backup light comes on when hitting the brake. And now these hinge covers with lights I just decided to eat them and cut the wires off. Almost afraid to buy anything else right now lol

If you focus on the negative reviews. Ones bank account would grow. Just fooling around.

Have you ever shopped at Just Jeep’s . Based in Ont , Toronto I think .Great service & helpful . Got my rear bumper & rock rails from them.
Getting my lift from them when the time comes .
While they don’t stock everything they can get just about anything .

Googling for a bit now, it seems all the reputable 4x4 accessories shops have closed up in SE Michigan. Granted, it’s been a good long while since I darkened their storefronts…

That leaves shopping online.

Many specialty shops for Jeep’s or whatever have closed in recent years and gone online or completely disappeared. Shame really . Would much prefer to go into a store to look around and hold what I’m purchasing but online seems the way of the future except for malls the big box stores

Went up the west coast of the island to check out Diversion Dam in Jordon River . Quite a bit of snow in a couple areas but passable .

Replaced all my ball joints today. The driver side ones had some play in them so I replaced them all. What a job that was! I'd say it was the hardest job of anything else I've done on the jeep so far.
F=ing You Tube makes it look easy. Cause of (California Dreaming) weather, no rust. And I am not getting (Down On My Knees) . Old tune if you are a younging. Paying my Mechanic when the time comes. All Good

Yes that was very much the case. the YouTube guys must take everything apart first to loosen it up. I borrowed my uncles ball joint press and even then, it didn't sit right on the Jeep axle so I had to go looking through my collection of random pipe fittings and stuff. Those pipe fittings are never going to thread into pipes ever again :ROFLMAO: While watching the video, I was surprised that the whole steering knuckle was attached by parts that were "just" pressed in. But they're apparently pressed in with 50 tons of force.

This is kinda off topic, but the Senate just passed a law here in Florida that you no longer need a carry license to conceal. Takes effect July 1rst. Thinking about holster options for the jk. Saw a few that mount below the column.

I have 1 mounted under my steering column, glove box, arm rest, 1 on the driver's door and 1 on me.

The Canadian government is going backwards. They're basically trying to ban all guns. Every time they do, gun violence gets worse. I'd never accept any more firearm bans.

Disclaimer: the above post is not an admission of me owning any firearms. I don't recall if I've ever owned any firearms at all. What is a firearm anyway?

Lots of options. The problem with most of them is they're not secure. If you're someplace and cannot carry (say, picking someone up from school) and leave the gun in the car, it should be secure. Secure options are more expensive, but worth it to avoid your gun being stolen and used to commit a crime.

[Edit] Here's a link to my How To on installing one option for a secure, rapid access biometric holster.

You must live in a bad neighborhood to need all of those.
Nope. I live in a small town. Years ago some dude all methed out tried to car jack me in the city. Ever since then I made sure I had 1 easily accessible from any position. The 1 under my steering wheel is my favorite.
