Shit is about to go down... er, I mean up, no... ON... that's it.
Just waiting for the mounting hardware to arrive (front didn't come w/ any), and deciding how to wire in the lights.
Rears will be on the reverse circuit, 4 squares will be on the fog light switch, and I'll figure out the center light after I figure out the switch I want & location.
I already fixed that little scuff.

Please offer some ideas on front plate location and mounting tips.
I removed the bumper logo and made my own, but this might get covered by the plate anyway...
I also thought about bending the top back flat to match the bumper...
Below just seemed like a really good place to damage the plate.

Took it and my adventure buddy camping. They had a great time. Went fishing and caught some perch.
Hooke & Fishbone make a front D ring /shackle licence plate mount .
It's what I've been considering when I get a winch .
Not a lot of good pics but found this one .
Kinda gives you an idea how it would look .
Not sure if licence plate would partially block light bar?

You might want to check and see if it's legal to have your plate pointing to the sky like that. In Colorado, you could get pulled over for that. Technically, at least. I don't think laws like that are high priority to most officers. I have never had a front plate on my Vette, for example, and have never had an issue.
I really like what you did with the logo.
Glad we only need a rear plate in PA. +1 on the logo.
In Canada , province of Alberta is rear plate only .
All other provinces are Fr/Rear plates .
Considering plate readers police cruisers use now a front plate is almost redundant. The plate readers are now mounted front /back on the cruisers so they can spot an issue while going the opposite direction even once they just passed by .
The technology is crazy .
But I suppose it’s often easier for popo to identify a specific vehicle from the front .
It’s funny though . The law is specific in nothing blocking your plate . The amount of bicycle carriers I see hanging off the back of vehicles is many . Most of those carriers completely blocks out plate .
So I guess if making a get away from what ever . Just mount a bike carrier on the back of your get away car .

I think I have to wait and see exactly how the bumper sits.
There is a front skid plate that might be needed, and it may offer an alternative mounting point I haven't considered yet.
I like the shackle mount option, but not yet ready to commit.

Installed a Smittybilt Atlas xrc back bumper and tire carrier.
We have the same bumper on my wife’s jeep, really like it. That said I think it was the worse instructions ever. Had to watch a YouTube video of someone else who did the install. We haven’t purchased any gas / water cans yet.
Did an oil change .
Installed new headlights with halo.
Installed JSCAN . That app is sure easy to use .
iPad Mini recognized the Vgate iCar pro right away.
Gotta admit thought would be messing around with the
Vgate & JSCAN trying to get it to work.
Was able to turn off DRL in seconds .
No issues at all.
Going to play with it more this week and adjust some
other parameters .
Question. Do you guys leave the Vgate or whatever you plug into
port plugged in or do you take it out when not in use .
I understand once change is made its done .

I left mine plugged in for over a year now. No reason other than I forgot to unplug it the 1st time I used it. Never had an issue. I sometimes login just to check the live feed.
Ok thanks for reply. Wasn't sure but makes sense if your going to check engine parameters while driving just leave it plugged in .
I'm a leave it in kind of guy (which sounds dirty, but isn't). My Wrangler came with a Bullydog installed, and those are obviously intended to stay. They come with a cable and windshield mount, and besides tuning, the screen shows your choice of four bits from the live feed. I have a Bluedriver that stays in the other Wrangler. I have another Bluedriver that stays in the garage for friends and family when they have problems.
The Vette has a gizmo from Innovate Motorsports that works with the Logworks app. It's a scanner, tuner, data logger, gauge cluster... It also uses the accelerometers in your iPhone to show 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, acceleration, deceleration, and lateral G forces, as well as HP numbers. The numbers aren't exactly what I get at the track or a real dyno, but they're pretty darn close. And certainly good enough to allow test & tune sessions without renting a track.
Sadly, it seems this company was bought out a few years ago and it's no longer supported. Mine is still working perfectly, but it means I'll be looking into replacements at some point.

Ok so you’ve left your gear plugged in without any problems . Good to know .
Was kinda looking at OBD placement in the Jeep and I could see myself accidentally hitting it with foot when getting out / in . So will probably just take it out when not using . I’m an accidental klutz sometimes .
