@JeepJeezy, I've considered the overhead, but I've got a switch pod mounted above the mirror. Do you think the two would interfere with each other?

The mounting of the panel I don't think would interfere but maybe the trimming might? Send a few close up pictures of your setup. I'll try and send a few close up pictures of the panel for you to see.
The panel does not mount to the loop. It mounts about an inch away on either side of the loop.

I like that overhead rack, but the wife said she hated it so it never got any closer to our Eep than my Amazon cart…

Thanks for the intel . Looking closer at pic of your Install at the front . It’s a No Bueno in my case . I have a 6 switch overhead SPod that is mounted in the centre up top Sicks about about 1-2” in front of plastic bezel and hangs down about 1/2”. So don’t think would work .
But I was wondering if they made something like that mounted between rear passenger doors ? Possibly hung off of sport bar ? That would span the width of the Jeep over the rear seat .
Have you seen anything like that ? Did a bit of googling but didn’t come up with anything

Added washers behind the steering stop bolts to save our new tires from rubbing through the sway bar.

Thanks for the closeups, @JeepJeezy. It looks like there would be interference between that and the switch pod. Which is unfortunate, because I do like the idea of that molle rack.

Sold my factory wheels & tires for $300.
That means my upgrade to 285/70-17 K02's only cost me $200!
They guy is planning to use the tires on his Toyota 4-runner, and give the wheels to his buddy.
I even told him that I would buy back the TPMS sensors for $50 if he wasn't going to use them; and he agreed.
It's almost as if all of my JK issues are being solved today.

So I have been slowly working to get my Jeep ready to do a week long overlanding trip in early spring. Slowly getting smaller projects done. Today I started on my airflow when sleeping. I need a fan blowing when I sleep. I used a sheet of 12"x24"x1/8" black plexiglass, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084T6NXP5/?tag=jkforum-20 . Mounted 2 12v usb computer fans, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C591NBXG/?tag=jkforum-20 . Then used this, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4GVPWM6/?tag=jkforum-20 to make a seal between the plexiglass and my window. Then I get my 12v from a solar power bank, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX8RRX9Z/?tag=jkforum-20 . The power bank and power switch are held on by velcro commands strips. I also added screen door mesh to cover the fans to keep the bugs out. I'm brainstorming what to use to keep the rain out if it were to rain. Next on my list is an elevated platform to sleep on and to have storage underneath it.

I’ve gone with the roll cage bags and they worked for me. Got my removable roof panel bag in them, the outside pouches hold some hand tools and spray lube. When I haul my golf push cart to and from the course, all the detachable bag accessories get stowed in them too. Still plenty of room left for other smalls.
