Took the daughter to East TN for the later part of last week. We spent Thursday in Pigeon Forge exploring (her first time since she was 6-months old, she's 10). Our group showed up to the campground Thursday evening and we spend Friday on Walden's Ridge at Windrock. Saturday was a bust for the trails because a JKU (orange one with Wheat's on the side) was having issues with his fan; we won't leave anyone behind. So, we got to spend quality time with friends and family around the campground.
I'm still learning how to drive coming from a built TJ to the built JKU. I've got the length down, but the full width 1-ton axles still give me fits. It's tough to trust when you're at a 40-45° angle and all 4 tires are still firmly on the ground. The TJ would have been laid over by then.
If you're ever going to Windrock, we highly recommend Coal Creek Campground in Rocky Top, TN. The owners are great people (one of them is a great friend and the blue TJ in the pictures).
If you want to see reels and videos of the weekend, check out Wheat's Off-Road YouTube and Facebook. We are out at least once a month, most months twice.
