What did you do to your JK today?

According to Amazon the wire adapters will not fit my 2015 JKU
Said the same thing about my 2014. But the white female end of the harness is what's important. This simply provides a connection between the harness in the soundbar to the speaker, and this is a fairly common Chrysler connector. After market speakers are going to have terminal crimp lugs (different sizes) for each polarity. The terminals on the harness I ordered from Amazon do not fit as a simple slide on, I had to open them up a little to accept the male end on the speakers.

So are you saying that the white end on the adapter will connect to the white plug on the jeep?

Yes.
I'm putting new terminals on the other ends of the black & white wires.
The speakers will dictate whether or not the terminal ends will fit. I recommend you double check the polarity before crimping the ends if you do change them.
Your other option is to cut the Chrysler harness off altogether and attach new terminals. I think there's plenty of wire in the soundbar.

Has anyone replaced the tweeters in the soundbar? Crutchfield doesn't offer any, just for the dashboard

Okay, to replace soundbar speakers, you're gonna need a few parts to adapt to both the soundbar and the wiring harness.
First off, look at the soundbar speaker grill, which is a 3-bolt torx pattern. This is a screw which goes thru the speaker grill and thru a steel screw clip which is slipped into a slot in the molded plastic of the soundbar.

The diameter of the molded plastic recess for the speaker is 7.5". Just about any replacement speaker you buy will not have these 3 screw tabs extended from the speaker frame. I purchased the Rockford Fosgate 1650 (6.5") speakers, and the mounting screws are integrated into the speaker frame:

This speaker is made with a 4-screw attachment pattern and it does not come with the Chrysler wiring harness connector, so you'll need this:

Now, I believe you can screw these speakers right into the molded plastic of the soundbar, but the inch or so left open around the speaker grill is going to look a little unfinished and the soundbar molded ABS or plastic doesn't seem all that sturdy and feels like it would vibrate a lot in a Jeep environment. So I opted to purchase this adapter:

Everything was purchased on Amazon: speakers were $109, speaker adapters were $12 and the wiring harness connector was $6.90.
I was going to fabricate my own adapters from a piece of 1/4" HPVC, but I'm very picky about seeing an unfinished look or something that looks too homemade. Besides, my time, labor and material is worth a whole lot more than $12.

This is way less than $150, so I'll be replacing the front lower dash speakers next, possibly the dash top tweeters at the same time if I can find a deal for the set.

Oh, by the way, I'm pretty confident the Rockford Fosgate 6.75" speakers will fit into the opening as well, but you'll still need the ring adapter if you want the finished look.
Thanks for the update and info I’m looking at replacing with the same setup

I just placed my order for the speakers, adapter ring and wires.
Has anyone replaced the little tweeters in the sound bar?

I'm not going to.
The dash top tweeters, dash front speakers and the sub in the back will all get replaced in the near future.

There is a You Tube vid by a guy who replaced the dash front speakers on a JK and he basically destroyed the old speakers to get the mounting ring off them to put on the new speakers. I didn't pay much attention, it was a pretty rookie vid.

Added Toyo Open Country AT3's and Grid Off Road wheels. Tonight starting the add of the Teraflex 2.5 lift.

If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't buy the harness. I'd just cut it off and add new terminal lugs to fit the new speakers. Again, I think there's more than enough speaker wire in the soundbar and losing 1.5" isn't all that.
And dry fit everything first, including the speaker wires and lugs to make sure your polarity is correct and the speakers are working before you crimp the terminals.

How are the tires with respect to road noise?
I have 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country MTs now and am either replacing with the AT3 or the Cooper Discoverer AT3. Don't think it matters too much one way or the other- still gonna set me back about $1600 for a set of 5.

To be honest I am surprised how quiet the AT3's are. So far I have been really impressed.

I’ve been trying to determine where to install my FE. Looks like a good spot.
I could not find a good spot at all. Plan was back driver side roll bar but when the soft top is down it gets in the way. Figured the seat is an easier spot for an emergency and fit like a glove.
