What did you do to your JK today?

If you're putting a supercharger or some such on your Jeep, you will likely need a larger radiator with more flow. That's often the case with performance cars; you can bet the radiator in my vette is not OEM.
Thank you. No plans for anything extreme. The cooling system in my old Fox Mustang was barely adequate for driving down the street. That was the last car I did any major modifications to... I was hoping things had improved in the 25 yrs since that car was produced!

Not for Mustangs...

Sorry. As a Corvette owner, I am required by federal law to make jokes about Mustangs.

Ha! Never been a Vette guy but I always respected what they could do on the track with nothing more than brake pads and tires... With the right driver, of course. 😎
Unfortunately, mine is handicapped by me being the only driver. So to make up for that, it's fairly heavily modified. It's a '99, with a coilover swap and a heads/cam/blower LS3 swap that makes 850HP on pump gas and will top 1000 on E85. Plus the appropriate safety upgrades. On pump gas, low-profile road race tires at full pressure, with a DA of 8800, it's run 11.9@122, a 2:10 on the local road race course (2.2 miles, 10 corners), and is still conformable enough that we take it on 4,000 mile road trips. It's not the best in any area, but it's respectable in all.

For the JK's today, I finished the radiator swap on Thor. Filled, burped, test drove. All good.

New headlights today... Didn't have time to swap the fogs but will hopefully get to that this weekend:

Holy cow what a difference these make! I just took it out for a night time spin around the neighborhood and it is significant to say the least... I think I have the adjustment pretty close but will dial it in over the next few nights.

Is that a JL bumper?

No, it's the bumper that came with the 2016 75th Anniversary package. I believe, other than the color, it's the same as the JK Rubicon Hardrock bumper. My understanding is that the JL bumpers were designed with this style in mind, although not exactly the same...

Thanks. I've been looking for one, and notice there are aftermarket knockoff bumpers, but finding a nice used 75th Anniversary isn't easy.
