But engine light is also flashing aswell so yeah need to scan mines and see what codes pop up

if the battery is bad it can cause lights to come on. We’ve had it happen before with a bad battery. It plays tricks on the computers.

I just installed the new battery. Fired right up. Getting ready to take it out for a spin to a relatives home for a little nightcap. Will report back in another day or two with what I hope is good news and a resolve.

@Tim marsters could very well be the same issue as mine: dying battery

Confirming it was a dead battery in my case. Things are normal, as they say, since the replacement on Sat the 25th.
