What did you do to your JK today?

The OP above making the changes has a 3.6.
Fair enough. That drops is to about 7-8%. It's generally accepted that a gain of 8-10% is needed to be noticeable, so maybe.
Regardless, most of these induction/exhaust type changes people make may increase the peak flow numbers slightly, but that will only show at high rpm. Noise will increase, though, and many equate that with a performance gain.
Hence my comment about the placebo effect.

My addition for today was the Dietech rear seat retainer:

It has two functions:
1) Keeps the rear seat locked in the tumble-fold position
So I am curious about this. If I'm reading this correctly, you fold the seatbacks forward. I've done this occasionally, usually when I was taking all the Pyrenees boys somewhere. But do you then tilt the whole thing forward? What benefit does this give, and how do you release the seat to fold it forward?

No, the seat assembly stays in the same position/orientation as when it is initially tumbled forward. The two lateral "prongs" engage in the latch mechanism to stay in place. I'll try to describe the process but it sounds more involved than it really is:

1) Hit the release to fold down the rear seatback down
2) Tumble the assembly forward
3) Rotate the retainer up and slide it over towards the driver's side, slightly
4) Push down on the latch and slide the two prongs of the retainer in place

Cant say as I've never been in a 4 door. In a 2 door there is nothing to keep the rear seat in it's "tumbled" position. It just flops around which makes the tumble position pretty much useless unless you have something wedged up against.

So from what I'm gathering, I don't think the rear seats in the Unlimited do this tumble thing. I recall the rear seat in my old YJ doing it, before I tossed the rear seat in the scrap bin.

Oh yes. The seatbacks fold down and you get a nice large flat area. I do this fairly often when I'm taking all the dogs somewhere. Fitting 2 Great Pyrenees and a BorderPyr in the seat isn't going to happen.

Disregard... I see how the seats fold somewhat flat in the four door after watching the first video I found. Similar to the Bronco 2dr we had. Too bad the Wrangler 2drs don't function this way. I was surprised to find how crude the design is.
 
More trips to the parts store. I've got the new engine in and running, but I'm getting some odd errors. The system thinks my oil level is low, but it's not. The sensor is ok and it has power, so I'm thinking I've got a grounding problem. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate tracking down electrical gremlins? I'm also seeing some fuel pressure fluctuations that need to be fixed; the last thing I need is for this thing to lean out under boost.

Got the ground repaired. But it's been snowing. And there's just no way on earth to drive that thing in the snow. So I can't test drive it till things melt off.
Going to drive into town today and see Night Swim. Probably take her Jeep. She's at 199,4xx and I'm kind of looking forward to breaking 200,000.
 
Do your paint guards work going through brush on a dusty trail and can you keep them on for a multi-day trip?
I've had no issues. They've stayed on for months at a time, doing 70 mph, rain, snow, dust and some tree branches. The lower ones on the rockers have been knocked off here and there though. Mainly from my wife and daughter getting in and out of the Jeep 😒

How difficult would they be to modify? I've got Poison Spyder rock sliders that cover everything below the door, well to well.

I think a good pair of sheers would cut them into any shape. I got a set of Hooke Road rocker guards for Christmas and will need to trim the paint guards.
