    General gear swap advice

    5.13's are perfect in an 07-11 auto, 4.56's in a manual. I have an '07 auto 3.8, and I can 100% say that I'm glad I went with 5.13's over 4.88s.

    3.6 Pentastar Misfire on Cylinders 1, 3, & 5

LoL that one flew right over my head! That's still a lot of miles for any engine though!

    3.6 Pentastar Misfire on Cylinders 1, 3, & 5

245k miles is a heck of a lot of miles, so you could very well be dealing with engine internals. One valve not working correctly, or a timing chain or on and on. Lots of potential problems there. Probably cheaper to just pull the engine and stick a low mileage one in. That said, I think...

    2011 JK Bolt Color

That might depend. Sahara's with the paint to match hard tops and fenders might paint all the bolts, and it might depend where they are. I do know that the door bolts for the hinges, etc are painted the same color as the body on mine, and I have a "X" or "sport" model. Stuff on the bumper...

4.56 too much for 3.8 and manual?

Yep. Mine was about 3k because I also put in truetracs. During the breakin 500 miles though I was like "yep, worth every penny".

4.56 too much for 3.8 and manual?

Yep regearing is a huge difference. You get so used to it being bad that when you do regear it's a palm to forehead moment.

    Overheating at highway speeds

Get a pressure tester and see if it holds pressure. Did you try replacing the radiator cap?

Need advice after JK got rained on with the top off

I'd pull the carpet and seats out to let them dry too. That carpet will get stanky if you don't. Will also give you access to the drain holes.

    Engine swap compatibility

Jeep speed shop and some others offer kits for doing the swap. It's a lot more than just the engine though. Radiator, exhaust, intake, computer and other things will cost about $10k. Then you need an engine and transmission. If you want a v8 the hemi is a great option as another mopar...

Are all JK Rubicon axle shafts the same length?

I think it has to do with the Rubicon transfer case vs. the "sport" transfer case.

    Adjustable Caster

Sounds like you need some adjustable control arms (and track bars), which will correct caster or at least improve it depending on how high your lift is. The spring is going to curve because your lift will make the axle move back and to the driver side relative to the body of the Jeep. The...

Great. Now I have to punch myself in the face to relieve the pressure.

Aftermarket Stereo Replacement Help & Recommendations? (Amazon?)

The alpine ilx-w650 is a good unit that's fairly cheap for what it does. You'll need some additional stuff to get an aftermarket unit to work/communicate with the CAN bus, the little mounting tabs, etc. The steering control box is optional I think if you don't want to spend more for that...
