Help finding half door replacement windows

The weather seals look fine, the problem is simply age I believe. They don't fit as tight as they should so they move when driving at 50 MPH or above. Even parked, if it rains, I'll have a puddle on the floor boards (no carpet thankfully). They just seem flimsy. My thinking is if I have new...

Play in steering after installing 6 lift on 2010 Jeep Wrangler

What Master Chief said, hoorah!! This happened to me, I took my 3.5" lift with 35s to a shop that was supposed to know what was up. Well when I got my Jeep back, the steering wheel was like the OPs in the pic and I was pissed at the dude. I yelled at him telling him I expected him to do...

Help finding half door replacement windows

My jeep is my avatar pic. 4 door half doors. I'm searching for the window replacements. The windows that are on now leak and also when driving on the highway, they tend to vibrate enough that they sort of "open" at the top. The top part of the frame on the window slightly opens and closes as I...

Play in steering after installing 6 lift on 2010 Jeep Wrangler

We need more details to help you out. Height of lift? Were the tires put on after of before the lift? Was an alignment done? Who installed the lift? Was it done at the same place as the tires? More info will help a ton.

How do I determine how much lift my Jeep Wrangler JK has?

The picture is of the front my man. The rear has a smaller dimension but all you need is a measurement of the front to determine the lift kit that was installed. X X/X - 9 3/8 = lift height. For example, my measurements were 12 5/8 - 9 3/8 = 3 1/4" lift height

How do I determine how much lift my Jeep Wrangler JK has?

Tricks? Just use a tape measure. Get on the ground and get dirty man, put the lip of the tape measure in the positions pointed out in the picture. I measured mine and it was a 3 1/4" lift. Weird height, so I looked it up. Rough Country sells a lift kit of 3 1/4" with only spring and shocks. I...

    New front bumper

Hoorah!!!! That's awesome looking. I had stenciling made for my other Jeep (no longer have it, divorce) saying IYAOYAS in big red letters. Loved it

Need help identifying size of lift

What should I look for to determine if it's needed? The Jeep rides very good and performs as should in the trails. The only thing I plan on doing is going from 32's to 33's and upgrading my front driveshaft.

Need help identifying size of lift

Measured this morning. 12 5/8 - 9 3/8 = 3 1/4” lift. I thought that was an odd lift height. I looked up rough country 3 1/4” lifts and the do sell it. Man, it’s weird they didn’t upgrade the drive shaft or anything else such as control arms. The Jeep drives great so I don’t suspect anything out...

Need help identifying size of lift

You always come through BLACKJKU!!! Thanks, I asked a question in that thread by the way. What is top of the "spring perch"? Is it the spring itself or the housing the spring sits in? Not that would matter much, we're talking 8ths of an inch probably.

How do I determine how much lift my Jeep Wrangler JK has?

Just to confirm, this pic is a picture of the front shock and spring? And what is "spring perch"? Is the perch the top of the spring or the housing the spring sits in? Also, are the stock dimensions equal for a Jk and JKU? Thanks.

Need help identifying size of lift

I've posted in the other discussion threads but never here so I figured this would be the correct place for my question. I bought my Jeep used and I know it has a lift but unsure of how much. It looks like I need a new front drive shaft but don't want to purchase one until I know the correct...

New JK owner, need advice on rust

Good question. Paint prevents rust unless rust is already present, you get a deep enough scratch to remove the clear coat and paint down to the metal or exposed metal. As you know, water and salt are perfect conditions for rust, especially exposed metals, such as the frame. To stop rust from...

    P0571 Code

Yea, after yesterdays initial light show it hasn't came back yet. Your pics are awesome by the way. In the one with you on the hood, the tension is tight on the winch and it looks as if you're about to take a dive lol

    P0571 Code

Ok, maybe I’ll hold off then. I’ll take the original switch apart and clean it up, check the spring in the inside and all that stuff if I can. I’ll order the one from Mopar if that doesn’t work so it’s the OEM. I’d hate to replace it with non OEM and start getting some other codes and have to...

    P0571 Code

I'll double check that but I think my actual cruise control switch is broken. When I depressed the button to give it a try last night it was weak and malfunctioning. I found a switch for $43 at Advanced Auto. Gonna give that a shot. Taking apart the steering wheel, new job. I haven't done that...

    P0571 Code

Ok, the fuse isn't blown. Everytime I turn off my vehicle it resets. The EPS/BAS light may come back on it may not, like a short or something. My cruise control came on for a second and now I can't get it to come back on. I'm not sure what the issue is at this point. It's random for some reason.

Not yet, I'll do that next and get back to this thread on the results. Thanks BlackJKU.

    P0571 Code

I do have brake lights. I don't have cruise control though. I've pressed the cruise control button and nothing happens, no lights on the dashboard or anything.

    P0571 Code

Hello all, I another issue I'm trying to solve. My brake lights wouldn't go off while driving, even though I wasn't pressing the brakes. That issue threw a code of P0752. I replaced the brake switch that is on the brake pedal. Today, I went in the trails for about 5 minutes, just to get a lil...
