I got away with few forgiveness back then, after that she caught up on it, my tail is now between my legs.
So, do not go behind her back then ask for forgiveness. In the long run you will pay the price.

My gut feeling is the engine is not toasted, TC is probably locked.
Lift / suspend the tires and try to turn the engine again with a breaker bar.
If you are a DIY kind of guy, you don't really need to have warranty.
I came from the TJ world and I do not hesitate to take apart anything by myself from these jeeps.
Yeah, I still love TJs.
I replaced my TJ rear shaft and u-joints recently with no jack.
But I begin to like my JK for some reason (I hope my TJs are not listening) :)
