    Easy Bikini Top

Another option, though it doesn’t keep the rain out is a mesh shade. We have 1 and love it. Allows for some visibility but keeps a lot of the sun off of you. There are several brands at various cost…this is what I use. https://www.spiderwebshade.com

Rear Locker (To Be, or Not to Be)

I’m asking because I just don’t understand. How would any of the Jeep electronics know you had a stand alone locker, engaged or otherwise?

Rear Locker (To Be, or Not to Be)

This makes no sense, if anything the rear (on a JK) is even more capable as it is a “next gen” Dana 44, with the carrier being the difference on a rubicon. We have had TJs and JKs with both styles and no issues. Edit to say: I may have misread your post? Maybe you were talking about having a...

Rear Locker (To Be, or Not to Be)

I assume you already have proper lift, tires, winch etc.? I’ve never heard about it going into limp mode, the rubicon is an auto? Lockers will change the way you ride, crawling over obstacles you once had to carefully choose a line. I 100% suggest getting them when you’re ready. To me there...

    Center console

Hmm On my 13s they have neither of those. You simply grab the knob, wiggle it left and right while pulling up and it pops right off.

How do I remove the doors on a 2014 JK?

Please report back, preferably with pictures of said Anti seize all over you and the Jeep! :ROFLMAO: In all seriousness, it doesn’t take a lot of it to work. And it DOES seem to get everywhere like magic.

How do I remove the doors on a 2014 JK?

Remove the nut on bottom of the hinge, unplug the electrical connection near the footwell and remove the safety strap. I find it easier to remove with the window down, open the door grab the handle and window frame work the door back and forth while picking up. Can be tough to remove if they...

2 door here, never noticed exhaust fumes with the top off and it’s off most of the year.

    Soft Top Question

You shouldn’t have to completely remove the window. I would think you could just unzip it about 1/2 way, hold it up and have him hop in, shouldn’t be a problem.

What did you do to your JK today?

From your previous posts, it seems you can do your own maintenance, so…this is all DYI and not terribly expensive. The leak would be my first concern, and where I would start. Are you having brake or transmission problems? If not I would start with the front brakes and finish up the list in...

    2017 Sahara JKU tire question

That wheel and tire combo are very close to the same size, (yours and your friends) like 1” or so. My .02 cents is, it will me no noticeable difference to the seat of the pants dyno.

    Leveling kit

I was walking by a jeep in a parking lot and seen this, I assume it is a cheap way to level the front? Does not look like a good idea at all to me. There was one on each side of the spring, so 4 total on the front.

2016 good 3.5 inch or 4 inch lift

Everyone is going to ask for more info…what wheel/tire combo, what are you going to do with it etc. etc. Without any of that, I’m going to say 2.5” lift with 35” tires on a 17” rim. Most cost effective and will do most anything you ask it to.

What did you do to your JK today?

Got the OHF frame chop rear bumper installed, I love it. Always hated the departure angle on JK bumpers, this is nice and tight up against the tub.
