What did you do to your JK today?

I was kicking myself because I didn't get one of the really droopy driver's side net until after I cut it out.

Installed smoked side marker lights. (Had to replace a broken one anyway).
Hi all! My name is Kim and I live in the High Point/Greensboro NC area. I just jumped over to this forum from the TJ forum after I sold my 2004 TJ (as well as my car) and upgraded to a 2017 Wrangler Sport Unlimited. I am hoping to learn as much about my new Jeep as I did about the old one with a little help from this forum.
Welcome there is a lot of great people here as on the TJ side also.

I unpacked and setup my new roof top tent for the non rock crawling/camping trips! Pretty excited! Later this week I’ll be installing it onto my rhino rack pioneer platform.
Did not get pics from underneath ( spent enough time on my back). But got the 7 pin wiring harness and brake controller installed. The mopar wiring harness is actually heat shielded so that was nice. Just zip tied the 20 amp inline to the wire. Didn’t want to drill holes under the hood.
Well I stopped waffling and purchased the AEV 2.5” lift today. Hopefully I’ll be happy / satisfied with it. And be able to get all installed.

One of my rear brake lights went out. I replaced the bulbs on both sides with LED bulbs. I still have to install the load resistors. I'll probably do that this weekend.
It was a few days ago, but I installed a used TrailDash 2 that I got a great deal on. I like it a lot.

Took advantage of a decent day to unspool the synthetic rope and wash the winter road spray off. Hated the thought of all that salt sitting on it.
Of course you can't do that without washing the entire jeep. My wife says washing the jeep must be my favorite thing. She should know me better than that...getting it dirty is my favorite! Yeah, we've been married to long for the other thing to still be a favorite

I like my OBD2 dash mounted gauge also it's alot easier to see the speedometer when driving.

Installed this bumper and tire carrier on my wife’s JK today. Seems like it will be a good setup overall. The instructions were terrible, glad I was able to find someone who posted a YouTube!
Braided and/or plaited line is very tightly woven and it's a good idea to spool it out once in a while and let it dry out if its gotten wet. Because of its tight weave, it retains moisture and will start to mold from the inside out. One way to help get the moisture out is attach one end and put tension on the line. Brought to you by your resident retired Navy guy who has spent his entire life using both synthetic and natural fiber lines, ropes and wire cables of all types.
Also ordered my OR Fab front bumper today. Will post photos when it's installed later this week.

When it was dry to the touch, I hooked it up to my 4-wheeler to spool it in under tension. As soon as it got tight, it started dripping. Like wringing out a rag I guess. I let it sit until it was dry again before spooling. You brought ups good point to post for others. Thansk!
Drove it up and put fuel in it. That hurt. Then it turned over to the 23000 mark
