What did you do to your JK today?

I may have finally figured out the way to post pictures!
I would rather lay in the snow, and work for an hour than post pictures!
I am a computer illiterate that can't figure out why the computer isn't more intuitive, and easier to operate for simple tasks.

I bet you can't wait to throw the 35's on. Are you getting all terrain or mud tires? Rig looks sweet

Do they hold the hood open at a higher angle? I'm 6'6" and the support rod doesn't give me a lot of room to get under there. If these really make the opening larger, I'll order them today!

I notice the one from Amazon covers all the years while the Ebay one just the newer years.

I would say an inch or so higher, there is some adjustment at the fender bracket due to elongated holes ( take a look at the fender brackets in the picture I posted). I have my fender brackets slid all the way back. If you were to install them all the way forward you would get more height. I'm still not sure it would be much more then an inch over the prop rod height. I just checked to see the height in reference to the prop rod, with my install the hood is at the same open height as with a prop rod. However, not have a prop rod in the way does make a big difference when working under the hood.

The reason computers aren't more intuitive is the programmer(s). I worked (briefly) at the "hell desk" for an ISP in the '90s. During that episode I discovered that 1) programmers, especially wbe page designers, consider themselves as "artists", and 2) most are mistaken. Since there were, especially where I was working in San Joaquin County, California, many folks who wanted to learn to use computers, but had basically only ever heard about them, never seen one before let alone used one, we had often had the task of ushering people all the way from the Late Iron Age all the way into the computer age. Laying in the snow working has its perks.

I just lean the hood all the way back against the windshield. No dings and dents in the noggin.
my thoughts, dont forget the towel on the paint, I use a blue mat like under my back tire, they dont hold dirt. I would use a bungee between both mirrors to hold the lid back against the windshield when in the wild, in case of windy conditions.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.
I plan on toyo open. country all terrain 3s. 35/12.5 17
That is, if they show up tomorrow. They have been on order since Dec. 23.
I stopped by the shop today, and my 4.56 gears are there.
At least the gear install will begin tomorrow.
