What did you do to your JK today?

Installed my CMM grab handles. Got tired of the wife and kids complaining about getting in a stock height JK with 33's🤦‍♂️

When am I not doing something w my JK? This weekend in a downpour, my wipers stopped working. Still under warranty, I removed the motor and took it in for a swap. This is the 4th one that will be replaced since it was new in 2013. The current one (provided its not a deeper issue) will be the 4th and it lasted 2.5 months. Should have bought a Mopar one from the start. Thus far, all of the one's I installed (first owner had to replace the OE) failed within 2 to 3 years. The current one lasted the shortest—less than 3 months.

I had to sync a new phone with the Uconnect yesterday. Is it a just a totally ridiculous system or am I a dumb user? The only way I could find to pair phone was though voice commands. I had forgotten that was the case back when I bought this vehicle and paired the phone I had at the time. Crazy that there isn't an onscreen method.

It's a pain. And what I've learned over a few phone upgrades is that Uconnect no longer alerts for a text message and ask me if I want it read to me. I dunno what happened to that feature.

Rolled over 300K KM’s or 186 411 miles yesterday .

Put on new wiper motor and assembly today . Wipers were not operating properly or returning to the “ home”position . Works good now .

Polished my aluminum shafts again . They were looking rough after a winter of salt & grime . Greased up the joints as well .

Yes they will probably get dirty on Sunday but will rinse off . View attachment 129178View attachment 129179View attachment 129180View attachment 129181

My aluminum *gear looks like shyt too. Curious, how did you clean them? My guess would be to use a Brillo pad, then wipe it down with fluid film.

Also, I replaced my wiper motor this Sunday. EDIT: just remembered that I went on a rant about my wiper motor earlier in this thread. So I deleted my redundant comments. But will leave this here in case someone decides to do the same thing to protect their wiper motor believe me I'll be back to comment on if it lasts longer this time around. Btw, the brand is: WAI
