No brake light or turn signal

Got the quick flash on my turn signal. Turns out the rear turn signal bulb was burnt out. I replaced the bulb with a new one and it still doesn't come on. I replaced that bulb and still no turn signal. The bulb lights up when I turn the lights on. I also found out the same bulb isn't lighting when the brake pedal is depressed. I check M18 and M17 and the fuses are fine. Anyone have any ideas?

I’d check the ground. Was it replaced with a standard bulb or LED? If LED bulb I’d pull it and put in stand bulb.

Check for voltages at socket pins and clean the socket with contact cleaner, then use dielectric grease when you put the bulb back in.

Got it figured out. I decided to pull out all the wires and look over them. I finally noticed a wire had come disconnected from some kind of small junction box. I reconnected it and lights were all working. Thanks for the tips everyone
