So after driving with and without the blower motor on for a while, the noise seems to be connected. When the fan setting is off, there isn’t any chirping. But when the fan is set to on, it does make a chirp sounds ever so often.
But the noise definitely comes from the outside, and is much more noticeable with the windows down. So I’m really not sure what to make of that.
Def sounds like the blower motor . Sound can bounce around in an enclosed area making it difficult to tell where exactly it’s coming from .
Good chance the noise is coming through the upper vent just left of steering wheel making it seem coming from outside .
If it was me . Just to be sure it’s nothing more critical like wheel bearings etc .
I would shut the fan off for a few days . Than you will know for sure .
