I’ve installed three 2.5” lifts, two on 2015 JKU and one on 2017 JK. Never needed any additional parts. Everything needed was included in the kit. Have them installed between 2-4 years depending on the Jeep and haven’t had any issues.

I’d try a wrecking yard. I had to replace one on my YJ several (my stupidity) years ago worked great. J&W here in Roseville CA has a great reputation and been around a long time. They only deal in Jeeps.

True, fortunately these are fairly easy to remove for access. One of the bolts by the door is a little difficult to remove. I think about 15 minutes at home I had it out when I replaced the power steering pump.

On the front we replaced the inner fender liner with metal ones. I wasn’t happy with how open the engine bay was without some sort of liner. The rear just left it exposed.

The wife has these, she has been happy with them. I’d have to look up the brand, got them though Extreme Terrain.

I don’t have any experience but I hear a lot of positives on the B&M shifter. I’ve thought about changing mine out some time, but the shifter hasn’t ever popped out.

G Great idea. I need to do that for my LJR. I rolled it up last summer and left it. When I unrolled it, it was a little scratched up so this year I just took it out all together. But I like the option of simply rolling it up.

S Thank you. I like how you supported the portion over the rear seats. I assume that portion is completely removed when not in use? It doesn’t look like you have it folding over onto the rear cargo area.

Do you know if the 100,000 maintenance was done? At that mileage the plugs should have been changed, and I recommend the ignition coils to be replaced (could be the cause of the misfire codes) also the coolant system should have been flushed. Do you know if the oil cooler has been replaced...
