New drag link after AEV lift install?

I’ve installed three 2.5” lifts, two on 2015 JKU and one on 2017 JK. Never needed any additional parts. Everything needed was included in the kit. Have them installed between 2-4 years depending on the Jeep and haven’t had any issues.

2008 JK dash / headlight wiring harness

I’d try a wrecking yard. I had to replace one on my YJ several (my stupidity) years ago worked great. J&W here in Roseville CA has a great reputation and been around a long time. They only deal in Jeeps.

    Aftermarket fenders?

True, fortunately these are fairly easy to remove for access. One of the bolts by the door is a little difficult to remove. I think about 15 minutes at home I had it out when I replaced the power steering pump.

    Aftermarket fenders?

On the front we replaced the inner fender liner with metal ones. I wasn’t happy with how open the engine bay was without some sort of liner. The rear just left it exposed.

    Aftermarket fenders?

The wife has these, she has been happy with them. I’d have to look up the brand, got them though Extreme Terrain.

    Aftermarket fenders?

What!!! Never say never, you might need to rescue the cool looking LJR some day😂 I mean after all you did get stuck in that mud puddle.

    Replacement shifter for 6-speed

I don’t have any experience but I hear a lot of positives on the B&M shifter. I’ve thought about changing mine out some time, but the shifter hasn’t ever popped out.

What did you do to your JK today?

Thank you for the offer. We’ve got a spare soft top my daughter replaced so I can use that.

What did you do to your JK today?

G Great idea. I need to do that for my LJR. I rolled it up last summer and left it. When I unrolled it, it was a little scratched up so this year I just took it out all together. But I like the option of simply rolling it up.

What did you do to your JK today?

We finished up the boys Jeep today with the steering gear box, tie rod, and radiator. Once we started it up noticed smoke coming from the passenger side exhaust manifold area. It is coming from the front hole of the heat shield. He changed the oil and said he spilt some while pouring the...

    Newbie wanting overland build advice

I am not looking for any overland gear, was only interested in how @JeepJeezy did the support for his mattress.

    Newbie wanting overland build advice

Thanks for the thoughts. We have a A-Frame camper we use for the typical camping. I’m trying to decide what to do for one nighters. Our club will wheel in one day and wheel back out the next day. A good example is our club maintains Barrett Lake trail. They wheel in one day doing...

Horn honks 3 times when ignition moved to run

Thanks. I have no idea why it makes me leery. I’ll have to give it shot since they currently disconnected as we’ve been working on his jeep. They weren’t but he left the key in the ignition and I go out the next morning and hear “click, click, click” etc. it drained the battery and one the...

S Thank you. I like how you supported the portion over the rear seats. I assume that portion is completely removed when not in use? It doesn’t look like you have it folding over onto the rear cargo area.

Pictures of the platform / sleeping area? Been thinking about options for trips we might want to head up the night before hitting the trail.

Horn honks 3 times when ignition moved to run

I don’t know why, but I am leery of doing this. My son’s Jeep has two lights on the dash, if I recall correctly one is the double snake lines and the abs light. If I recall correctly the only way to fix it is to take it to the dealer, or try resetting the ECM by touching the two cables...

    Might buy my first JK

I hate them too!! Can take forever to track down and I’m not very good at it. Knock on wood, not a single electrical issue so far. I am ready for the PCM to go some day though.

    Might buy my first JK

Do you know if the 100,000 maintenance was done? At that mileage the plugs should have been changed, and I recommend the ignition coils to be replaced (could be the cause of the misfire codes) also the coolant system should have been flushed. Do you know if the oil cooler has been replaced...
