I do second the AEV 2.5” lift. Have it on three JK’s it’s a great setup. Handles wonderfully on and off road. Now if you were into heavy rock crawling I might would recommend something else. We do some rock crawling (did a portion of the Rubicon) and I was still happy with it.

As @1o1Proof said they are not weather proof. One simple solution is to use some dielectric grease on the connector plug. Water can get in there and cause issues. I’ve yet to have an issue with mine.

For me it it was just a matter of seeing someone taking time to do something that isn’t necessary. Plus just a place for some electrical thing to go haywire.

Assuming it does not work I am guessing around $300 from a few I’ve seen. As @1o1Proof said $120 for the manual setup. For a total of $420 I’ll just get the disconnect links. I am sure price varies by region.

I can’t remember but this might be similar to an issue @WestCoastDan had. Maybe he can chime in, he spent a lot of time getting his fixed. Ended up being some bad wires in the harness. I am just not sure it was the exact same issue.

I am wondering if you have checked the radiator cap? Maybe it is going bad.
