    New rear bumper... sort of

So after getting stubby ends for the front bumper, installing Smittybilt fenders, and removing the running boards, something has to be done to the rear bumper and I found my perfect fix: Fishbone Off-road rear bumper delete with their d-ring kit. I like the simple look to go with the rest of the...

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

Gonna do it this weekend on my grill. When you did yours, did you apply any sort of base before spraying the color on? I thought I saw that they have a base used for the wheels but not sure if it’s needed for plastic

    What's this wiring harness for?

So when I bought my Jeep I noticed a toggle switch on the I side that doesn’t do anything....at least I don’t think it does. When I popped the hood today, I found this wiring harness. Is it factory or is it something else?

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

How doesn’t it stick to the body? Does it only adhere to metal?

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

To be honest I didn’t even think about doing the grill instead of buying a new black Mopar one (I want a black grill). I plan on taking my wheels off when I do it but some of the YouTube videos did it with the wheels on the car. Are they not afraid of overspray on the body?

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

Yeah I was watching YouTube videos on it....pretty cool how it just peels right off and how easy it is to apply

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

Lol....good point. Lucky for me I’ll hardly be off-roading so they should last....until I decide to change the color 🤣👍🏼

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

So generally pretty happy with it? I like the fact you’re not 110% committed to the color (like powder coating) if you’re not happy with it and can change it if you want

    PlastiDip anybody ever use it?

If so, how long did it last, how hard was the process, did you like it...etc. thinking about doing a set of wheels with it. Could I do it with the wheels mounted already? Thanks for any input 👍🏼 -Chris

Dude I think before I relax the material, I need to relax myself because I get so frustrated trying to get it to work....lol.

    Soft top zipper issue

Tried unzipping my rear plastic and could not get it to budge. Tried spraying some silicone on it but it didn’t help much....maybe I didn’t leave it on long enough. Anybody else have this issue where the zipper is down past the metal starts?

First mods (of many to come 👍🏼)

Yeah me too....really happy with it (resonator was removed by the previous owner). It’s funny because whenever I’m coming up on somebody walking, they turn around to see what’s coming when they hear me and are probably surprised that it’s a Jeep....lol 👍🏼
