    ARB twin compressor underseat install

Round 2 on the compressor install: plumbing!!! Here's the supplies I've been waiting for and the bracket I made for the QD. The hose is a 21" Viair primary hose with check valve (for future tank install). I got a 1/4" NPT through frame bulkhead fitting to attach the QD for rigidity. I am a...

    KC HiLiTES thoughts?

I'm interested as well. It's hard to find good quality information in reviews so first-hand knowledge is best. There are a million different lights out there and it's very hard to tell what you are getting for your money.

    ARB twin compressor underseat install

Thanks and will do! I have the seat reinstalled but I'm waiting on a couple of fittings and a hose that will allow me to mount a quick disconnect on the seat frame. I also have some quality battery terminal connectors on the way.

    ARB twin compressor underseat install

A few pics of the harness routing. I had to remove the sealed connector on the compressor end and tape the wires together in order to get them through the firewall harness boot.

    ARB twin compressor underseat install

The last couple nights after work I've started my ARB compressor install under the passenger seat with a teraflex mounting bracket. I wanted to mount it under the driver side but it would require lengthening the ARB provided wiring harness so I decided against that. So far the installation...

    Permission vs forgiveness

😆😆😆 I'll grab an oar cause we're on the same boat! Sometimes she knows but much of the time she's like WTF!!??!!?? Let the explanation begin. Hahaha

    Permission vs forgiveness

first off I'd like to say thanks for your service to the United States of America. I did not serve myself but I'm appreciative of everyone who has and if I could go back and do it all over again I most definitely would. My wife and I have always shared our money which is probably where some of...

Yeah I've heard that more than once! 🤣

    Permission vs forgiveness

In the realm of "wants" versus "needs" it seems to me that is always easier to ask forgiveness than it is permission to allocate the necessary funds to continue the nasty habit of "modding". Hahaha I've experienced this with a few parts I've installed on my Jeep as well as gun parts, tools, and...

Anyone have experience with the ARB twin compressors?

Yeah I want to keep it out of the way and out of the elements while retaining accessibility to it and the engine bay for future servicing.

Anyone have experience with the ARB twin compressors?

Well I pulled the trigger on a twin ARB compressor and tire inflator kit yesterday! I'll post some pics in a new thread when I get to installing them under the driver's seat

QUOTE="Oscar-Mike, post: 427546, member: 17486"] They frown upon HF winch products here for many reasons and so Smittybilt is more reliable. No prob. To each his own. I'm not afraid to say what does/doesn't work for me and noone else should be either. You know what they say about opinions. Lol

Anyone have experience with the ARB twin compressors?

I'm assuming you say that because you have power seats? Teraflex makes it for a reason...... just wondering if anyone has experience with it. Thanks

Anyone have experience with the ARB twin compressors? I'm thinking about a teraflex under seat mount to keep it from the elements. Commentary appreciated!

T The rear bumper is from Hooke Road. I liked it because it attaches to the rear gate and swings in unison which makes things much easier for the wife. Not my first choice and wish I would have gone with the Smittybilt Atlas to match the front at this point because of it's meeting of storage...

Thanks! Yeah, the Warn pricing is cringe worthy. I have a Badlands 12k from Harbor Freight on my Super Duty that's been pretty good although only used a few times. That's another setback in the decision making process......I don't get myself into a winch worthy situation very often.

It's a 2011 Sahara MOAB edition. The wife and I picked it up bone stock back in September. I started mods right away with the lift/wheels/tires. It handles pretty good but I plan to upgrade to better shocks eventually. Gears will also be a must. The bumpers went on over the winter along with...
