Yea, I just read where the dongles are required for vehicles 2018 and later

2008 jk Sahara I just purchased Icar pro 4.0. It will arrive tomorrow. I went to the App Store and downloaded JScan. It downloaded to my phone, but never asked me to pay for it ? I thought there was a charge for it ? Also, do I need a dongle adapter ?

I do have a heat or heat gun. I sent there some way to check the actual temp of the engine ? I don’t trust the gauge? It I shoot the cat with the gun, what temps am I looking for ??

2008 jk. How can I check engine temperature if I feel the gauge is not correct ? My temp gauge seems to be working. It goes from cold to center of dial after warmup. But, when I pull it into the garage it smells like it’s overheating.

Is JScan just a one time license fee ? Or does it have to be renewed yearly?

Walking up my driveway today, I noticed mine also has a slight lean. 1/2” lower on the passenger side ? I won’t lose any sleep over it.

Are you saying 1/2” (inch) ? Check your tires ? Low tires on the passenger side will cause your problem.

Jeep Wrangler jk Sahara 2008. I bought some excellent condition used OEM 18x7.5 rims to replace my existing rims that are badly oxidized. The new (used) rims came with the air pressure monitor sensors. When the shop puts on the newer rims, do my existing sensors have to be used Or will the newer...

If you have a stick shift you definitely need the hand brake. Mine needs attention also. If I’m in my driveway, which doesn’t have much slope, I can not have my engine running while I work on something.

Found it, there is a section in my 2008 manual that explains automatic and manual calibration. It should be in your manual if you have one. If not I can post it for you.

i assume your talking about the compass heading in the dash? If so, I seem to remember that on some of my previous cars there was a way to recalibrate it. Had something to do with driving your car around in circles to reset the compass. I don’t see anything in my 2008 Jeep manual that explains...

Don’t really care what “most think”. I like what I like, and I like the stock rims. This Jeep is not going to be a rock climber, hill climber, bog runner, or cliff hanger, not lifting, no ginormous tires, no winches. Etc, etc. LOL 😄. I’m 76 years old and love my new Jeep which is in pristine...
