Hi All, 2008 JK. I have noticed a lot of issues concerning oil coolers. Are all wranglers equipped with oil coolers? Or are they only on certain models? I have a 6 speed manual Thanks Tom

Nope. Jeep did not include the wiring harness, washer tubing, or rear washer pump If it was a soft top. One must also install a whole new heater/AC/fan control panel and a new steering column stalk. The kit includes all of this stuff for only around $150.00. That’s not bad, but installing it...

So, I bought my 2008 jk which was built from the factory as a soft top. The PO installed a hardtop from another 2008 jk. But they never had the hardtop wiring kit installed for the rear washer/wipers/defrosters. After researching how to install the wiring kit, it’s really a PITA to do so...

I’m no expert yet with the OBD readers, but don’t the codes stay until cleared ? If your engine light came on there should be a code lurking somewhere ?

If the cat back unit is specifically for your year jeep it shouldn’t be hitting the frame. Did you install it ? Maybe you didn’t push it onto the exhaust pipe far enough before clamping it. If your rubber brackets have enough play in them, you could cut your existing exhaust pipe end just a...

You have to go in and adjust your Speedo, unless you already had 33s. ?

Also, do not install plugs when the engine is hot. Works the opposite of removing. Tightening plugs ( or any threaded part ) when a block is hot will allow it to be tightened further then when it’s cold. That can be too tight.

Heat the block is what you want. No different then installing bearings. You heat up the surrounding area so that the steel/iron/aluminum Expands. I work on many small engines. When I remove a bearing or threaded part I always heat up the block around the part. Also when reinstalling a bearing...

2008 Jeep Wrangler jk. I want to clean my battery terminal connections. If I disconnect the battery will everything work after reconnect ? Or does something need to be reset? Will I lose my JScan settings? Thanks
