It's a 3.6 thing. Any 3.6 in what is now known as Stellantis's line-up, has an oil cooler. Earlier years seem more prone to issues than later models, though all are.
Don't worry about it until you have to. If you find that your engine is leaking oil, and it seems to be coming from the rear of the engine, there is a simple check to see if it is the oil cooler. All that is required is a flashlight.
I used to have a 2014 and the video I used to diagnose the issue was about a Charger. It is in a number of models going back over ten years. Not all have issues with the cooler.
