That is missing at least one Jeep chromosome.

    Speedo error after taller tire

The options to adjust tire size in JSCAN offer values for every .25" in tire height. I'm not sure if these values are JSCAN created, or ECU managed. Just put a straight edge across the top of your properly inflated tire and measure up from the flat ground. My 285-BFG K02s measured at 31.75"

Looking for tires that aren't noisey

A Jeep tire should at least look like a Jeep tire & perform like a Jeep tire. IMO, the best overall tire is the BFG K02; That's probably why they call them All-Terrain. ;) Joking aside, they have a ton of sizes to fit any application, they aren't super loud on the freeway, and they provide...

Electrical issues - multiple gauge cluster alerts and loss of power steering.

Any clamps that grip around the entire surface of the post are better than the stamped, OEM garbage.

    Rear seatbelt extenders....FREE

Sorry, but I wasn't able to crack the code... how do you get them for free?

Electrical issues - multiple gauge cluster alerts and loss of power steering.

Although mentioned above, I didn't see if you have replaced the factory battery clamps yet. I had multiple issues directly related to the cheap, folded sheet metal clamp assembly on the negative terminal which caused an intermittent return path for the entire electrical system. The combination...

What did you do to your JK today?

Good choice. The BFG K02's are my "go-to" tire for both of our Jeeps. 28PSI seems to provide the best ride, wear, and tracking on both of ours even though the tire sizes & vehicle weight, wheelbase, etc. are different.

What did you do to your JK today?

I was just starting to feel good about where I'm at with this thing, then I made the rookie mistake of looking at the diagnostic report that the dealer provided. I know they are alarmists and always looking to "upsell" goods and services at elevated prices and extended lead times, but they do...

What did you do to your JK today?

I’m in the same “high-mileage” group w/ 157k on our 2015. It’s still cheaper than replacing it, and being confident that it’s in working order definitely has value that cannot be measured by dollars alone.

What did you do to your JK today?

That’s quite the list. Welcome to the “I’ve spent nearly as much to repair and maintain my JKU as I did to buy it” group… Sadly, this group is not as exclusive as one might think.

    Ignition coil recommendations

I just bought & installed a full set of NGK plugs and coil packs for our 2015 JKUR. So far, they have been perfect.

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

Yes, the JK has been “acting right” since the harness rebuild. Hopefully that resolved the problems!

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

If I made one, it would largely just be used here at the house, but my idea would be to design one using something like this type of “folding” engine hoist configuration: Obviously the hydraulic lift setup above isn’t intended to work like the winch on the previous types, so it would need to...

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

That's why it would need to have a base with "legs" like an engine hoist, that you push under the vehicle. That eliminates the imbalance created by the weight of the top being at the end of the arm, as it would then be almost directly above the center of the base.

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

That's closer to the setup that I would want, but it still seems overpriced, by quite a bit. I can buy a used engine hoist for under $100, and that would give me the base and the arm. I can increase to the vertical height pretty cheaply, and an inexpensive electric winch can be found at Harbor...

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

From what it looked like on the video, the part that goes into the hitch could be replaced by a set of wheeled legs/frame (think engine hoist base) so long as it was tall enough. It wouldn't need to swivel since you can pull it straight back and/or drive the Jeep forward if it isn't connected to...

Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

The wife found a product called Hard Top Buddy on FB and I’m somewhat intrigued. The idea of being able to easily remove the top at a destination instead of before going there seems like a good plan. Anyone here use one, see one in use, or recommend other brands/options to check out? I’m...

Remove the mirror, then clean the area under the plastic cover & replace the gasket and move on to the next issue.
