Serious question. Why? It's a proven fact that DRLs reduce accident rates. And there isn't any downside to them.

When I swapped my OEM fogs for LEDs several years ago, I used the Jscan to enable the DRLs using my fogs. I prefer it that way.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought DRLs were required in Canada?
