2011 Jeep Wrangler JK with cold start issue

@Ghstrydr Not to sidebar this post, but was ready to post asking about this exact thing. Cold start, into reverse, Jeep stalls out had no idea WTF was happening. Checked today, trans fluid was low. This comment saved me a bunch of time, thanks!

    Soft Top or Not?

I am pretty sure everyone comes here, we have quite the following it seems. Last year was especially busy as we are drivable from a lot of places and Florida stayed pretty much open last year. Let me know next time down, we can grab a beer and talk about Jeeps.

    Soft Top or Not?

I have a 4 door and love the soft top. It doesnt get super cold here, so the hard top wasnt really a required option. The soft top can be halfway opened in about 2 minutes, but then you can also lay it all the way back if you wish. It gives you a few options and protects against pop up showers.

AC randomly turns on at start

Still new to the Jeep world but have recently noticed that the AC will be on sometimes when I start the Jeep. I saw on some other forums there could be a humidity sensor which would make sense. Any idea of what is going on or how to find out it there is a sensor on my vehicle? This happens with...

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

I found the install manual and it lists the replacement brake pad numbers. Agreed, they look to be off 2007+ 1500 as you stated. I got new pads on the way and am excited to finally get to put the kit on the Jeep.

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

@JerryD Just got my new Akebono pads for the 1500 calipers, but the pads aren't the same as the ones that came with the big brake kit. I think they might source the calipers, but the brackets that move the caliper away have the slots where the pads sit might be custom. The Akebono pads are...

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

Maybe a stupid question, but I assume on the 2002 1500's, these were the front brakes? I am a huge Akebono fan and wanting to get those pads to put on the RT kit when I install it.

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

I think you are correct, if you look at the Crown kit versus the RT, the stock image is exactly the same, lol. I also have a 2016, so going with the RT front kit first, rears to follow. This Jeep game is getting expensive already, and addicting...

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

Does it have the kit in the front and rear, or just the front. I was a bit worried that dual pistons up front and singles in the rear would act weird, I would think you would have to adjust a proportioning valve. New to Jeeps, maybe it auto adjusts.

Any experience with this RT Off-Road big brake kit?

I am looking to do a brake upgrade on my Rubicon in advance of adding more weight and my 35's. Looking at options, I see a few routes. There are big brake kits that add larger rotors but retain the stock calipers. Other kits add larger rotors and multi-piston calipers, but are of course more...

My new Fox 2.0 shocks ride better than Rancho 9000XL shocks

Just got mine on order today. They are back ordered but will post back when I get them in and installed.

My new Fox 2.0 shocks ride better than Rancho 9000XL shocks

That was my question. I have a Rubicon with stock shocks but love the look of the Fox shocks. I just wasnt sure if the Fox would ride way more rough when I mostly use it for on road driving and not rock crawling (I live in coastal beach town, no boulders here, lol)

    Any idea what this is?

Got under the hood, see small wiring going up to a relay. Also see a small wiring harness off the battery with a inline fuse. I am thinking @BLACKJKU was onto something and there was a past light bar. Good thing is, there will be a new light bar coming soon... Thanks for all the help folks.

    Any idea what this is?

All the wiring under the seat seems to stay there. There are two tiny power wires going to the unit, so obviously not a huge power hog. There are what looks to be two small wires going out from under the seat. I am new to Jeeps but will pop the hood today to see if I see anything that looks like...

    Any idea what this is?

So I tried hitting the power button, and all the switches. No lights came on and nothing seemed to happen. I tracked down the wiring under the seat and still don't have any idea what this is. The name on it looks like it say EastSun, but couldn't find anything online about that either.

    Any idea what this is?

Love it, that was the fallback plan. If it is indeed a real flux capacitor, I want to make sure I don't break it first, lol

    Any idea what this is?

Recently purchased my 2016 JK Rubicon and just ran across this box under the drivers seat. Looks like something aftermarket, but not sure what it would be. Any ideas?

Just purchased a 2016 Rubicon. New to Jeeps and already addicted

I figured this would be a great place to hang to learn all I can as I start the upgrade process.
