Hot oil light and other lights

Is there a work around on this hot oil issue
Gonna need a bit more info .
Do you mean hot oil message on dash ?
Do you mean running live dats like JSCAN and temperatures are high ?

If it’s dash warning . That would be auto transmission fluid temp high .
Solution
Auto trans cooler hooked inline with factory trans cooled .
2007-2011
Factory Trans cooler is located within the condenser .
So insufficient on mountain passes or when towing .
Added cooler to mine and no more hot oil messages

Hot oil on the dash. With in five mins of starting jeep it comes on. No drive just sitting.when I turn the jeep off and try to restart nothing, dash is dead.unhook the battery to reset and abs light traction light and brake light are always on. Also when I do try and drive it its in one gear won't shift nor can I manually shift it.

Oh boy . Ok Well if the traction & brake light are always on that is usually a sign of front hub or hubs needs replacing .
But since your having trans issues at same time could mean there is an issue with main computer .
Did you start up one day and dash lit up like a Xmas tree & trans stuck in 2nd?
Or was traction / brake light on for days or weeks than trans issue started ?
There are guys on here that know more than I .
They will chime in eventually .
The more details you can provide the easier it will be the help .
Big question like I already asked . Did it occur at once or did trans issue start up after brake / traction lights .
Cause if stated at diff times could be 2 diff problems .
Or as I said if all lit up one day I would say computer break down .

Some interesting combinations above, the transmission is odd. But I would start with checking the battery to make sure it is good. Then if so, I’d check to make sure the battery connections are clean of any corrosion, and securely tightened to the post. Recommend checking the ground wire from the battery too. The transmission part if a little odd, but for the others I would check the above and see if any improvement.

Well it all started with the sway bar.wasnt working stuck open have taken apart several times regressed ect. This time the electric part wasn't working. Found a broken wire fixed it. Lights on the dash no change.change out the sway bar to get ride of all that. Cut the wires at the plug since wasn't working.next day or two went to drive thats when hot oil came on.. since than have rewired back up did replace to fuses that had pop then rewired. Replace tipm, the pcm ,bcm, the oil cooler.

Battery check clean terminals and took the battery to get chech out load test and all. Check out good

Mmmm wow ok . So a bit of a cluster f..k.
Well to the electronic sway bar. Not very dependable . There is a manual attachment that replaces electric motor .
I’d go that route or get a Rock Jock Anti Rock sway bar .

It seems like messing with the wiring for sway bar caused an event somewhere electrically in your Jeep .

It looks like you replaced sone of the computer components already that didn’t help .
Have you hooked up a code reader . JSCAN reads codes and might help get to the bottom of your issues .
Cause this my friend sounds like a very complicated and frustrating problem .
We can throw possible solutions around all day but a quicker way would be to get JSAN or some other type of code reader . As at this point it really hard to say exactly where the problem lies

Most off the codes are lost communication with everything it seems like. Had a guy hook up his computer to look at all the code and reset them
Those brake, traction, engine and abs lights never clear.

I'll try and post some updated codes

Here is a link to decipher codes

Looking at a few . Looks like all computer related
A couple regarding can bus
Most reading non communication

Even the traction control and brake light . Non communication . So at least you know it is directly related to the computer or electrical

At this point myself . Would bring it in to a shop cause it could be something more to do with main computer .
Possibly just needs a system reset or replacement somewhere . I’m just kinda guessing now . But def computer issue .

You got the Rock Jock
Nice !!
