I'm sure someone will chime in, but maybe it doesn't complete the circuit if the bulb isn't in? Maybe try installing an operable bulb and see? And maybe change the license plate bulb too, in case it's a bad one.

I second the FEEL part. Doesn't add HP, but opens up the throttle to get rid of that lag, especially when geared correctly. It's a game-changer for me... almost 3 yrs installed (Pedal Commander) and still love it.

Sorry been a while since I logged in. Yes, I have tried to access it while belted in. Doable, but takes longer and inconvenient. I have a magnet under the dash for access. But, if shit goes awry while I have it on me and belted in. It will suck.

Mishimoto makes one, but it's a bit pricey. I think I'll put some Lucas stabilizer and leave it for now, like Largehit does. I'm with you... as long as it returns down it's pretty normal. I'll just watch it. Depending on where we camp, there's a canyon here that's a few miles long.
