I just recently put a clutch (center force dual friction) first time into the my jku (2008 unlimited x). After installing the clutch and buttoning everything up, I noticed my clutch pedal has lost all pressure. Does this mean the slave cylinder will need to be bled? Thank you all for your time

It sounds like you might have introduced some air into the hydraulic system during the clutch install. A loss of pressure in the clutch pedal usually indicates that the slave cylinder is not fully engaging, which can often mean that bleeding the system is necessary.

Before you proceed with bleeding, double-check that all connections are tight and that there are no leaks around the slave cylinder or master cylinder. If everything looks good, go ahead and bleed the system. Make sure to follow the proper bleeding procedure to remove any trapped air.

Let us know how it goes, and good luck getting that clutch working smoothly!
