Hello everyone. I am in dire need of assistance. I have exhausted almost all of my finances to fix my jeep. I own a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, and for the past year, the ability to control it has declined. I do not have any pictures or videos but will take them in the very immediate future.

July 2024, the rear passenger tire went flat. I did not check the spare on the back and assumed it was the same size as the other 4. The tires that were on it were 275/65R16, and the spare was 245/75r16. I drove on it for almost 2 weeks and noticed the vehicle started to wander and bounce. It never handled like this before. I have replaced a bunch of parts, and taken it to multiple places to be told what the problem was, only for it to not remove my issue. Any deviation from a flat road and the whole vehicle shakes and bounces. It isn't death wobble because it is not speed dependent. I bounce and rock at 2 mph and 65 mph. Everything is being torqued to spec, and everything I have replaced has not been mentioned as causing a fault in the vehicle. One place even told me my frame was bent OR my differential brackets were... And i took it to a collision repair for them to tell me neither were. Firestone even said that the vehicle is fine, and all I need is a battery guard. Please, help me. I have spent almost everything I have.

I have replaced:
4 tires, Drag link, tie rod, both front wheel hub assemblies, upper and lower ball joints both sides, steering gear, front and rear driveshaft, rear axles, all 4 shocks, upgraded all the bolts, brakes, front track bar, sway bar links, both upper control arm bushings that mount to the axle, all four springs, multiple alignments, and multiple wheel balancings.

Any videos or pictures anyone needs to help me, I will take them.

It seems like you’ve done a lot of the typical troubleshooting steps already, but let's see if we can dig a little deeper.

Check Wheel Alignment and Balance Again: Even if you've had multiple alignments and balancings, it's worth considering that after a lot of repairs, especially with suspension bits, a follow-up alignment is often necessary. Sometimes shops can miss things, so a second opinion might be worth it.

Inspect the Control Arm Bushings: You mentioned upgrading the upper control arm bushings, but how are the lower control arms and their bushings? Worn control arm bushings can significantly affect handling and stability.

Look into the Steering Stabilizer: Since you've replaced a lot of steering components, a worn or leaking steering stabilizer could also contribute to the symptoms you're experiencing.

Check for Loose or Worn Components: It might sound simple, but sometimes a small loose component can cause a chain reaction of issues. Check all your suspension connections again to ensure everything is tight.

Check the Frame and Body: You mentioned that the frame was inspected, but if you can find any signs of damage or misalignment, specifically around where the suspension components mount, that could be an issue.

Drivetrain Issues: Since you’ve replaced driveshafts and axles, ensure the drivetrain components are well lubricated and there’s no binding or play in the differential. Also, a torque converter or transmission problem can sometimes cause handling issues that manifest as bouncing or shaking.

Tire Size: Running mismatched tires could potentially lead to handling issues, especially with the difference in diameter and tread. It's essential to match all tires.

Weight Distribution: Ensure you're not carrying extra weight or any modifications that could affect the weight distribution, which might exacerbate handling issues.

If you can share any more specific symptoms or odd noises, that can also help narrow it down. Additionally, a video of the bouncing or shaking while driving might help those with more expertise identify the issue more easily.

30 psi last time I remember but I will check again in the morning. I cant drive at night and broke the tire Guage.

A quality tire gauge is not expensive, and I'd check tire pressure all around before buying another part. Secondly, replacing the flat tire with a spare of nearly identical specs should not have created the problem you described, so there is another cause, and the incidents are coincidental, not consequential. Lastly, after checking all your steering linkages, have you checked your shock mounts? A broken mount could account for both the steering and suspensions issues you described.

Have a helper (of some stature helps) rock the Jeep forward, backward, left, right, etc.. push the tires back and forth, independent of the frame or body, Even up and down while you are under the Jeep watching for play and odd movement. Put it in 4WD too. Watch your pinions for up and down movement. All this can be done while in park to be safe. Do it twice, three times. Video it.

I found a rear upper control arm problem this way, took three times to finally find it.
