So your wanting to center the rear wheel back in the wheel opening? The adjustable arms will let you set your pinion angle and move the axle some, just get a set for the size of your lift.

A) You would need both upper and lower I would assume and
2) How far would it let you move it back before you would need a longer drive shaft?

Yes on upper and lower, and depends on how high of a lift on needing a new driveshaft on the rear. Also you'll probably need a new driveshaft on the front if the rear needs one.
