Can I use a good engine light for a JL on my Jk?

You can use nearly any light/bulb accessory you like, so long as you ensure power doesn’t remain on when the hood is closed.
I’ve had this tilt switch in my list for about a year now… I’m just smart enough to know I’m too lazy to install it while the current light is still working.

Thank you, I see you’re in California? Have you added a cold air intake in replace of the stock air filter system?

No. I have not made any mods to the intake.

I don’t have one either. From reading on the forum I get the impression they aren’t really worth the effort or cost.
