Value of 2014 JKU with new engine?

Hey all, it's time for me to sell my 2014 JKU and it has a new Dealer installed motor with 36k 3yr warranty on the motor components. So my question is I see plently JKU's selling in the $10-15k range, what in your professional experiances would mine be worth? Dealer gave me an invoice of $11k. Everything in excellent condition, NO rust anywhere new Koni shocks, new steering stabilizer, very good Wildpeak tires, Jeep lifted a couple inches, several other improvements including a 10k winch.

Depends on the frame and your local marker. I'd say start at 15k and be expecting to take 12k especially given that this is an awful time to sell a vehicle (total buyers market).

OP, the Jeep is worth what someone is willing to pay. I see prices all over the place. Ultimately, Like Chris stated, it depends on your local market. Something I believe could be helpful to your resale value is if the warranty is transferable. If not and you've got high miles its just a crap shoot to find someone willing to pay a premium.

Well stated. The other factor is the timing from the seller. If there is no urgency to sell you can price it higher and wait for the "right" buyer.

I have my 2014 listed for $15k and, while the engine is original, the entire top end has been rebuilt- cams, rockers, lifters, heads resurfaced, new water pump, cooling fans. All the engine work done by a reputable shop and come with the same warranty as yours. Several mods and I'm selling it with the OBD dongle, freedom top covers, cargo bag that fits the SmittyBilt Defender roof rack, etc.

I've had maybe three serious inquiries in a month. And I'd let it go if someone offered me $13k. But, whether or not I sell it isn't a life or death matter, it runs exceptionally well and looks great.
