Soft Top Leak

Hi - Newbie to the JK site here. I bought 2014 JKU in the fall with a hard top, which served me well in the WI winter. I picked up a used soft top and swapped it on last weekend. I am getting a small leak by the corner of the top and the passenger a-pillar. I was just inspecting the top in that area and it looks like the header is pushed in slightly (see pic). Does that make sense from the picture and can that just be bent out carefully or what else does anyone suggest?

I don’t have a soft-top so no expert here. My kids too and from memory it seems the top should extend over the windshield frame to the paint. It just doesn’t look right to me.
 
Soft top, hard top they all leak. In denial if someone tells you different. Or maybe that is just in Canada.
