Selling my Wrangler

Looks like I may be selling my baby. I'm wanting something with better towing capacity. I've decided on the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi. With the factory tow package it gives a 7200 lb towing capacity. My Wrangler is a 2015 4dr with 74000 miles. Has a few extras. I still owe about $18.5k on it

I understand you have to do what’s best for yourself & your needs . Are you looking at a new one or used ?
I guess my only concern would be on parts availability down the line as the Cherokee has been discontinued .
Last one rolled out of the Belvidere plant in Illinois in late-February.
The Grand Cherokee will remain in production threw 2024.
Reason is steady poor sales for the last decade . But the Grand Cherokee has had a boost in sales lately . There is also something going on with the actual Cherokee Nation requesting the name be dropped . More info in the following links.

The V-8 is dead in the two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee but it's still available in the three-row model.

The 392 Wrangler was released in 2021, so there are certainly used ones available. They may still be out of your price range, but they exist.

I had a feeling towing capacity wouldn’t be much more than a reg JK or JL.
Limiting factor is probably factory hitch design and possibly how the Wranglers are set up.
Not really a heavy weight hauler like say a pickup.
