I have a 2015 Wrangler that just recently started bottoming out when I go thru ruts on the beach. Its a hard slam and only n the front end!! I looked at the front but saw nothing wrong with any of it other than the rubber snubber on the right side is not attached. What would be a good fix for this. It is mainly a beach toy and very little forest running or mudder.

What is a rubber snubber?

Yes the bump stop!! And if these shocks are bad, they went bad in one year from no heavy bouncing or heavy off road action. I may just change everything out suspension wise.
What brand are they? The cheap chain auto store knockoffs aren’t worth what they end up costing you in time and work.

Well since newer shocks .
I have to ask how fast are you going and how deep are the “ruts”.
Biggest mistake people make is going Mach 2 while off-road .

I'll toss this out there.....
Most beaches require or strongly advise you air down to about 20psi so you don't get stuck. I know a lot of people opt not to because they don't have onboard air or are afraid they'll tear up their tires after getting on the pavement before airing up.

Word of caution, as cool as the Dukes of Hazzard Charger was flying thru the air, trust me when I tell you a Jeep will not perform the same stunts should you be hitting ruts at 40mph.

Are you going thru the rut perpendicular, meaning both tires are in and out simultaneously, or are you taking them at an angle and flexing your vehicle farther than it was built for?

Sorry, but I think you'll need to be a little more specific in your description of what's happening before we can offer any help.

These ruts are about 6 inches deep and since I do not hammer my vehicles and my wife was also with me along with my dog and the speed limit on the beach is 25, I was doing less than. I.m an old guy and do not like turning wrenches anymore than I have to. I guess the only way to fix this is to either forget I even mentioned it on here or have a new suspension put on it and the last part probably won't happen because of cost. This Jeep as it sits will probably outlast me.

Already run lower tire pressure and the ruts are from idiot JEEP drivers doing do-nuts thinking it is cool to do. Or the ruts are due to idiots being stuck with the two wheel drive thinking they can go anywhere. I try to hit the ruts when I see them straight on and at or below the speed limit of the beach. Washington state beaches are highways!! The shock are new as of last year and bought from a good place. I ran the same shocks on my first 4x4 and that one rusted out too the point that I could see the freeway just by looking down!! Same company made those shocks. If I decide to do anything to this Jeep suspension, that will probably be done by someone else. We will probably leave this house for another one that is closer to civilization.
