Recently bought an 09 JK 2-door and I'm looking to replace the center console with one that has a "glove box" and has the cup holders more forward. Found some on Ebay that look like they'll fit. The replacement process looks to be pretty easy. Was wondering if anybody else has done this and if there are any "gotchas" I need to be aware of. Thanks.

Replacement process is pretty simple as had to remove my son’s to get to the transfer-case bushing linage. Not sure if it is an optical illusion but for some reason from the angle it looks like the transfer-case slot is further back, but maybe not.
While it is off I recommend replacing the plastic pushing linkage. We used the following part from https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/shifters/jk-cable-shifter-upgrade-kit on the transfer-case. Highly recommended, replaces the plastic bushing with a quality brass bushing.
