For some of you know I have my spouse’s 2010 2dr Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the manual transmission, it was my spouse’s favorite jeep, my spouse sadly passed away on March the 4th of this year. I am trying to get it where my spouse wanted it to be . I recently came back from Tennessee Windrock , and just purchased a 2022 Sunray Sport travel trailer. I have now noticed when the jeep sits overnight on the first cold start in the morning there is a rattling noise coming from the transmission. My spouse had a aftermarket B&M sport shifter installed in it to stop it from jumping out of first gear which fixed it. It also makes a similar sound when you put it in reverse, I am just concerned about it , does anybody know what it could be it has 66,000 original miles on it . Thanks

Probably your throw out bearing is on its way out, mine is starting to act up too.
I have to agree on the throw out bearing .
On a side note , so sorry for the loss of your husband .
I think it's pretty cool that your carrying on the project
to finish up the Jeep for your late husband .
