Hello everyone, I recently installed the RS5000X shocks on my 2014 JK. I previously had the RC Premium N3 shocks that were installed with the 4 inch RC lift from the previous owner. So far the ride quality has been much…much worse. I feel every crevice and crack and imperfection on the road and it’s jarring, not just faint. I know the ride quality with jeeps is meant to be a little rough but this is next level. I got these shocks because of how much other Jeep owners have claimed to love them and have said how smooth the ride quality is. After sorting through the forums and Reddit I did the chalk test and lowered my PSI down to 27, this helped slightly but not by much. I then decided to do the zip tie test and have attached the results below (I added a picture showing the bump stop too).

My question is are these shocks too long and compressing too much? I got the RS55329 shocks and RS55330 shocks as suggested by Rancho. My tires are MT Baja Boss A/T 35x12.5R17. Thank you in advance!

You may have the wrong models. I found this:

Depending on where you bought these, the description and lift measurements for Rancho shocks can be confusing. I have the same shocks on my JKU with a 2.5" lift and I must have checked the correct lift size a dozen times before ordering them.
