P0522 code

And I’m asking again, did you replace the sensors? The OE cooler doesn’t come with sensors. At least all the genuine Mopar ones that I have seen don’t come with sensors. If it came with sensors, it might not be OE Mopar. Did you buy it on Amazon? Amazon is notorious for selling counterfeit parts

Yes the mopar unit was all together with sensors o rings and filter.

Tip start is when you turn your key to start the Jeep but you just turn it forward for a second to start it instead of turning the key and holding the key in position to start the Jeep.

Oh, I didn’t know that. My p0522 came on after I changed battery, and starter. It always happens when my oil cooler leaks, but I looked under it and I don’t see any puddles. So I’m not sure if pulling on battery wires messed it up or the new battery fried it. I’m orahing I don’t have to do the d&$#@ oil cooler again

So is it ACTUALLY leaking or not??

I can’t see any oil under it. It’s a little shiny but maybe from last time?? With mirror and flashlight but this has happened 10x I have Dorman housing but no seals worked with it. I tried felpro mahle and Dorman.

I give up. If you want to diagnose a problem, you have to do diagnostic things.

Good luck OP.

Give up? You asked a couple questions. That’s it. Don’t be rude. If I knew every step to take I wouldn’t be on here asking. So if that’s how you act just don’t reply.

What has happened 10x? The code or replacement?

the housing is all mopar from mopar the new version all complete parts put together. and i just replaced the oem oil pressure sensor and ithe 2nd time i started it came right back on. so i guess its a wire or pcm fried when i installed new battery. i dont know how to check the wires or connectors with voltmeter tho

well new sensor in, no leak from oil housiong, code came back p0522 and for a minute p0520. jscan shows perfect pressure at idle, but still throwing p0522

Did you disconnect the battery and touch the positive and negative cables together to reset the computer to learn the new sensor? Did you clear the code in Jscan? Did you drive the Jeep in the reset sequence to clear the code? Is your oil level correct? Is your oil dirty and need changed? Is the correct oil used? Are your battery clamps tight and cannot move when you try and twist them? Did you or a garage check the wires to the sensor for any bare and/or pinched wires?
