I have a 2013 Jeep Sahara we bought in July. They replaced the Left side of the head. After getting it back we noticed an oil leak. We have changed the oil cooler with the metal Dorman and after going approximately 200 miles it is leaking oil from the same area. We have changed o rings and even changed oil cooler and now have went back with the plastic one from Dodge and after driving we have noticed the oil again
Could the head be warped? We're at our wits end.

How long after getting it back did it start? Just wondering if you took it back to the place that did the head swap... You can do a compression and leak down test. Not conclusive but it will tell you if something is not right in the combustion chamber, like a failed or compromised head gasket, for instance.

That's our next step. It started leaking after we got it back from the shop. Didn't leak before and we put the new oil cooler on it thinking that was the problem. I called the dealership and asked them if it could be the head and they said that never got a bad one before. There's always a first time.
I guess we'll be taking it back.
