Off Road Insurance Question

Chris, thanks for the welcome wagon. So... in my continued build and improvements for more off roading, do you, or should you notify insurance of the increased value of the parts added to the Jeep? Fenders, Wheels, Drive Shafts, bla bla bla. ???? Or does that just increase your insurance because they know you are going off road more? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Insurance to my understanding won't cover you at all if you tell them you are going off-roading. In fact, if you wreck your Jeep and tell them it happened off-road, they will deny your claim.

If you want a set value policy you can go through Hagerty and they will insure your vehicle for a set amount that you decide. I don't think most insurance companies do this though. If they do, you'll pay through the wazoo.
